After coming here for so many years, I had to come back and edit my review from 4 years ago. Today was horrible. The entire staff was new and there wasn't a manager around. The gentleman behind the register continued to ask me to repeat my order several times. It was very frustrating. All I ordered was a 2 topping thin crust pizza baked well. This went on for too long. As he finally repeated my order back to me, he forgot the baked well part. Again, I had to repeat the baked well part. At that point, he walked away from the register. He came back with a young lady and had her ask me what I wanted. Seriously? Neither one of them understood the baked well part. They laughed at me. Yes, both of them. It's apparent that this place is under new ownership, and they're lacking the pizza skills necessary for properly understanding that baked well is a thing. I finally walked out and decided Senor campos would be a better choice. At least they won't laugh at me here. Lol!

Just a quick update. We still haven't been back. El Cholos welcomes us.

Still updating. Other places are treating us well.

Another update. Panchos has great food and awesome customer service. Shakeys still refuses to make it right.

I'm still updating my thread. It's been over two weeks since I sent an email as requested. I still haven't heard a peep out of the owner, so I just wanted to remind them that Tulsa Ribs didn't laugh at us.

Another random update. I still haven't heard from Shakey's since I responded to their email over 3 weeks ago. Here's my El Pollo 16-piece family meal that our family enjoyed tonight.

Man. Oh! Man. I had forgotten how delicious the pizza, fried chicken, and mojos are at Shakey's. We made it just in time for the all you can eat buffet and it didn't disappoint.

Let me tell you about this spot. Its great quiet friendly location. Can get loud at times but over all awesome. The employees are super sweet and make it a point to remember your fave pizza for bunch a lunch. food is great can be a little slow to push different pizzas out but that bc of making sure food not wasted. This is a great gem of a place in town and feel it is underappreciated. Check it out

Remembered Shakey’s Pizza from childhood. The pizza was ready as promised. Although the crust was thin and somewhat crisp, I was hoping it might be the same as what I remembered as a child. Possibly the numerous toppings affected the crispness.

Good and tasty food, great service. Small, but free parking lot. Lunch buffet is the best.

Came here for the first time and the enviroment was very welcoming. I talked with the manager Leo and he was amazing. Explaining me some stuff about all the restrictions they have on food because I was telling him about the bad experience I had in the Shakey's of El Monte. Not because of the staff, but because the managere they have there. He was very nice, I had the buffet, and he also asked me if I wanted the chicken garlic pizza to be prepared. I said yes, and it was delicious. Also, the cashier Van was very nice and professional. I gave 5 stars to it, only the food I gave 4, but just because I'm Italian and I expect for the pasta to be made how it has to be made. But a lot of places here in U.S. cook the pasta differently. Other than that, everything here is exceptional! I encourage everybody to come in this Shakey's.
