Our family has stayed at the Shaggy Dog numerous times. We love everything about it...from the comfortable homey accomadations, Terris' awesome meals, the shaggy dog outdoor lounge, swimming pool, beautiful yard for relaxing, a warm jacuzzi and much more. Terri and Steve will definitly make your stay perfection. Located close to major roads and highways for easy access to the Phoenix area.

Another great month long stay at our favourite Phoenix Airbnb - The Shaggy Dog. The “Dog Pound” casita feels like home, as we’ve stayed here every time we’ve travelled to the desert to cycle and hike. What can we say - it’s just perfect and completely stocked with everything you’d need for a break from winter in Canada! Every year Terri adds a new element for her guests enjoyment - this year it’s the new golf putting green. There are always indoor upgrades too - the beds are so comfortable after a full day of adventuring in the sun! We love that the property has endless outdoor opportunities - from the outdoor bar for happy hour fun, to the incredible outdoor shower and hot tub area and lots of room to soak up some rays by the pool. A pool table and games area, a fire table and bbq for outdoor dining - these and many other features keep drawing us back. The three Westies - Annie, Maggie and Georgie are always happy to be your “pets-away-from-home”.

Terri & Steve are incredible hosts and are always there to steer you in the right direction if you’re new to the area - restaurant recommendations, best route directions, a Super Bowl party, or any other reason to celebrate! Even a helping hand (and a loaned walker) for those guests (hopefully I’m the only one) who fall off their bike and need to find a hospital and require some TLC. There’s absolutely nothing these two won’t do to make your stay perfect!

Terri and Steve are spectacular hosts! Both are talented... one on canvas, walls, kitchen, etc and the other in the garden/yard! Also, their 3 dogs are so sweet! A must stay experience!

A wonderful vacation rental. We stayed for one month. Steve and Terry were gracious hosts. Lodging was excellent. Yard, pool, backyard bar area and various seating areas made for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!
