We did not stay at the resort, so I could not rate that - my 3 was for the golf course only. Location was easy to get to, and the people who worked there were wonderful. I was looking forward to the golf, but found that with my handicap, I was playing the back tees, and for me, that was unusual. The greens were very tough only because they were fuzzy, not firm. I'm not sure if they are always that way, but I found them to be like temp greens as far as conditions went. I think this course would be great if you wanted to practice or if you were a beginner. There were two holes that peaked my interest that were challenging, but the rest were pretty straightforward. The price was a little more than I would normally pay for this quality. They made the best layout, I believe, with the land that they have.

Did not go this year, but have been several times. Comfortable rooms, incredible pool (with large deep end). Front office staff customer focused. ONLY negative, is that the Resort has really "jacked" up their prices, whereas they use to be more reasonable. Close to shops & restaurants. PRICE is the only thing that may keep me from returning.|I think there was a change of ownership.

The Resort is operated by a private company which hosts private condos for rent; some condo owners rent at the resort through Airbnb. The Resort owns the pools and grounds- and restaurant - so if you book via Airbnb, you may not have access to the HUGE beautiful figure 8 pool. This should not prevent you from booking because you can make arrangements to gain access to the pool and amenities. ||||We did book with the Resort and were very happy with the stay and the condo- fully equipped (large Fridge) etc modern with granite and new appliances, dishes, knives etc in single with a nice bathroom and dbl sided vanity. ||||Bed was comfortable and there was a pull out sofa, outdoor patio with a floor to ceiling sliding glass door to view the mountains, pool and flowers. ||||The Staff at the front desk, housekeeping and the restaurant (Javier and his wife) were all truly pleasant and nice people. We ran into them at the Mall and they remembered us by name and we chatted like old friends. ||||To go somewhere different, and feel at home is a wonderful gift!

Plus Gucci, Saphora and Apple Store
Sullivans Steakhouse
And my favorite Casuelas Cafe, with live music and dancing on the weekends
As well as the Living Desert

I stayed at a unit on Airbnb and it was fantastic. Great location, reasonable prices, fantastic pool and restaurant. And my unit overlooked the tennis courts, the host was very responsive It was wonderful. I will definitely be back. Stayed a second time at same BNB was just as fabulous

We stay here whenever we can. It's one of the oldest "hotels" in the area. We get the room on the ground floor by the pool.. It's our favorite... But we've also been upstairs overlooking the tennis courts. They all have kitchenettes and plenty of room... King bed with a small living room... Bathrooms are good size and have the shower and toilet separate from the sink and area to get ready. They also have apartment/condo type with a separate bedroom and regular condos with 2 or more bedrooms. Their pool is HUGE. The weekend we were there unfortunately Hurricane Hilary decided to show up. But up until Sunday even though it was cloudy, the pool was so nice... Great temp

My daughter and I really liked the original Palm Desert/Palm Springs feel and feel of the exterior of this hotel. Our room was remodeled so it was more modern but had accents of that same feel. The pool is gigantic and was a bit chilly for November, but it wasn't a super hot weekend and it felt really nice after our hike. We were right by the pool and the slamming gate was kind of loud and one guest had loud kids music, but it wasn't too terrible and it was very quiet at night. The service at the cantina was odd, but the pineapple daquiri smoothie was delicious.
