Super clean & modern inside. We were all so impressed. On a hot night, our silo was cool & comfortable. 6 of us all slept comfortably. Loved the cave dinner experience and we were just a minute walk back to our accommodations. |Great price. The bathroom is in the silo next to yours. With a key, you get a private room. And there is a public rest room next to it (that you can lock from the inside.). We loved coffee (from the coffee pot provided) in the morning & the rocking chairs in front of the gift shop.

I have only been a couple of times but I loved it when I was there. Great people. They came and checked on us when we got back from getting caught out in the storm on horses. Very clean place. Wonderful for Lil kids as well. My dad and family go ever chance they get they have been 10000 times and never have they came back saying anything bad bout the place.

We came for Frontier Days and had an amazing time! We will be back again to enjoy the trails and entertainment. The view of the property is incredible. The owner and family are amazing people and we loved hanging out with them.

I wish I could have something to say from experience from this place, but my husband and I planned to come here for our anniversary to do trail rides and eat dinner. We called a month in advance to book. Were told it was too far out and she would write our name down and call us back a week before. Didn’t happen. We called her and left a message the week before and have called many times since. No answer and now they are closed until the day of our anniversary. We have done everything we can. I will never attempt to come to this place again and won’t recommend it to anyone else.

It’s ok for the rally I attended. It’s very rustic, again ok for a motorcycle rally. I thought they would have at least mowed the campsites better. Had enough grass to feed the horses for the horse rally coming in the next week. (Maybe that was the plan). The full-hookup sites were very close together and not very many of them. I was fortunate to get one and everything worked just fine. The sites are a bit uneven and it may cause leveling problems for some. The roads are gravel and dusty. Very pretty country. I didn’t visit the Rattlesnake Saloon nor the souvenir shop and had my on food so can’t comment on these fairly. Been there, done that and bought a T-shirt. Probably won’t go back.

Love the people, trails, and saloon. The campground needs improvements to their campsites such as grading, gravel, and better connections. It rained while we were there and the campsite was a pond the entire weekend due to no grading and we were on a hill. Also, the dump site is a cleanout for a septic system, which is not sanitary nor easy to "dump" into. There should be access to water at the RV dump site to at least wash your hands etc.

Fantastic Horse and Mule trails. Very clean restrooms on both ends of the Camp and at the Rattlesnake Saloon.
Waitresses are professional polite courteous and very attentive.
The Horse Trailer RV hookup sites are a bit tight just enough room get your awning and slides out between neighbors Horse trailer.
Fees are affordable and the owner and employees are also great.

We were greeted by a courteous and helpful staffer upon entering the lodge/office, in fact, all the staffers we talked to were knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. There's a gift shop, with gifts, snacks and some camping necessities, and a western sculpture art shop right next to the lodge where we signed in.||Signed up and were directed to our campsite that was easy to access and hook everything up on our RV in just a few minutes. There's other camping/lodging options there too.||The camping area, while not particularly attractive, is well designed and very adequate for camping for people and horses. There's a gas generator across the street from the campground that does make a noise, but it wasn't much of a bother to us, and it's something that's surely no fault of the owner and can't be helped.||There's some very interesting historical artifacts in and around the lodge, as well as out on the trails.||As for the riding trails, they're unlike any other I've seen. Simply breathtaking in some areas, and there's a wide variety of terrain, some is pretty challenging, but we learned during our short time there that there's always a detour around the challenging parts for those who do not want to meet the challenge. A lot of parts were really muddy, some knee deep to our horses, but our horses are Paso Finos so none of the technical terrain presented a problem to ours, I think it was so muddy because it had rained the night before our arrival.||They have at least 3 different types of trail: narrow (more challenging), wide (enough to drive a truck on), and there's the really wide gas line clearing you can ride on. It serves as a less challenging way to go as well as a 'short cut' if you need to get back sooner, and it appears that most if not all the trails begin and end into the gas line clearing. We were given a map, which I'm sure was accurate, but it didn't turn out to be much help for us, as it was just small, black and white, not very easy to understand for me. ||Since they have a simple trail marking system and good signs, it was pretty easy to find our way.||All in all, even though it was a 5 hour drive for us, I can't think of a better place to go horse camp, some I've been to may be about equal in my opinion. ||||The staff, management and beautiful trails made it well worth the trip, and the prices are hard to beat, for both the camping and restaurant food. ||||I'll go back when I can stay longer!||[email protected]
