Extremely Disappointing Service – No Respect for Loyal Guests

As a current Gold member and former Platinum member, I expect at least a basic level of courtesy and recognition for my loyalty. Unfortunately, my recent stay was nothing short of horrible. The concierge had no sense of welcome or respect, and the front desk staff—particularly a tall gentleman—was incredibly rude.

When I requested an extra bottle of water, I was met with an unprofessional response and was told to pay for it at the marketplace. This, despite having stayed at this hotel for at least 25 nights before. No greeting, no acknowledgment of my status—just poor service that left me feeling unappreciated and hurt.

When I asked for my complimentary points - ordinary response .

When I checked on upgrade - said they are overbooked.

This was by far my worst experience here, and I sincerely hope the management addresses the lack of hospitality. Loyal guests deserve better.

Just an overall great stay, mainly based on service, as it’s a pretty standard Marriott.

The best part was the night valet Dillion, extremely courteous and professional. Cannot say enough good things about him.

Night staff as a whole was amazing Cora and Michael ( I believe that was his name), went above and beyond expectations.

Housing keeper was just as great, haven’t had daily service in the last few years, it was so night coming back to a clean room.

Again Dillion, Cora, and Michael were amazing. Great multi night stay.

Great location right next to the town center. Staff is friendly.
I couldn't understand why not even water is included as part of the $275 room charge. No breakfast either...

We have been booking this hotel in the past several years for our events. Its the best really including the location and the stuff are very friendly and proffecional.

Great central location. Room surfaces were clean. The common spaces and the rooms smell like air freshener/potpourri and stale air. Lobby bathrooms stink and the smell wafts out into the hallway. The carpeting in our room stunk of a spray or cleaning product and it gave our dog a skin rash from lying on it. Our room smelled like old cigarette smoke. The couch smelled like many dogs had been on it before. The air circulation in this hotel needs to be addressed, as well as the loud products that seem to be used to cover it up. Carpets in our room really needed a deep clean to get the potpourri smell out. Still a big fan of Marriott Suites in general, but this one needs some help.

Awesome hotel and especially the valet service guys from Towne Park were especially helpful. I had a little issue with my car and they helped me fix it free of charge, with special thanks to Jose and Dillon for their support.

Although the hotel has good hardware and facilities, it lacks attentive management.

First, the blankets in winter are very thin, and the quality of the blankets inside is poor. They haven’t replaced them with comfortable, thicker quilts. The pillows are also very soft, shapeless, and feel cheap. Like things motel will use.

Second, no slippers are provided, so guests have to walk barefoot on the cold tile floors.

Upon check-in, I was asked to register as a member in order to get free Wi-Fi, but even after registering, I didn’t receive the free Wi-Fi.

Additionally, the front desk kept mentioning valet parking and that they could handle charging the car, but the parking staff repeatedly told us to park the car ourselves, saying they don’t know how to drive a Tesla. One of the parking lot entrances was broken, and the exit was very narrow, making it difficult for a Model X to enter.

Overall, the stay experience was disappointing considering the price.

It's a Marriott, so it's nice. However, parking is a disaster. It's surrounded by street parking that you can't use overnight, or you'll get towed. There's parking lots and streets with parking a few blocks away if you want to walk. I tried to use valet, but my vehicle has a manual transmission. They can't drive manuals, so I had to drive it into and out of the garage. Finally, I'm glad we won free breakfast because it would have been over $100!!!! That's crazy. Do yourself a favor and investigate surrounding options.
