Hillcrest is one of the few remaining original hotels in Seaside. It was built in 1931. ||But don't let that worry you....the rooms are remodeled, comfortable, WiFi, and many extras. ||If you want something different from the "cookie-cutter" sameness of more modern hotels, Hillcrest is for you. Very family and pet friendly. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is locally owned and is definitely NOT a chain. It is 1/2 block from the Aquarium and 2 blocks from the center of Seaside.

It was cheap, great location close to everything, the bathroom had a shower and a jetted tub, spacious rooms, there's snacks inside the office and the lady who runs it is really nice! 10/10. Also has sauna

The customer service is absolutely outstanding, the entire cottage is really nice and has everything you need, our one and only complaint is the hard beds, and the terrible pillows. They have BBQs, a sauna, snacks, popcorn, hot chocolate, and fresh baked cookies (snacks, popcorn, cookies, and HC are free with your stay), washer and dryer by the sauna for renters to use, and fun games and toys to play with in the small courtyard. The prices are absolutely the best prices anywhere, and definitely much better than Motel 6 or other crappy places. We never ever heard any other renters, and we're a loud bunch and never had any complaints lol Lastly, they are 2 blocks away from the main strip, so definitely within walking distance.

Ruth is so accommodating and puts a personal stamp on the visitor experience. My business occasionally brings in customers from out of town and I have recommended Hillcrest for their stay. Every customer of mine has nothing but great feedback when they stay there.

Cute cozy little hotel, not the fanciest, but exactly what we needed for a 1 night stay as we were passing through. Very affordable. Less than 4 minute walk to beach and restaurants. Pay a little extra for the room with a spa tub. Very relaxing. Great customer service. The gal that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. They have drinks, popcorn and snacks at the office along with movies and games. Only complaint is the parking. Not many spots.

Excellent location..across street from nice Church..and 1 street down from prominade..owner is very nice and hands on. This is an oldie but goodie.. Great parking.. didn't stay but they are even remodeling rooms and was told people love the suite units...

We payed attention to this place because of tiffany color and never regret about our decision!
That was super cozy staying. Clean, warm, neat, nice smell suite with everything you need in literally two minutes walk to the beach. Special thanks to super nice front desk lady - sorry, didn't ask her name, but she is amazing!

Such a cozy and wonderful place to honeymoon. We were just there in a room with a fireplace and it had everything we needed. The staff were wonderful and welcoming. We will be back, SOON!
