Love the Sea View Inn!! Over the last few years we have stayed here 3 times (in 3 different room types) and it has always been great. We travel from Australia and find that staying here gets us into the time zone and relaxed before we start the next part of our trip. There are a variety of room types depending on your requirements and number of people. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, rooms and common areas/pool are always clean. The beach is a downhill walk, about a block or two, and the hotel supplies towels/chairs/boogie boards etc. if you surf, there is a surf shop within walking distance that hires boards, with some good surfing normally at El Porto (again within walking distance). There are several cafes/restaurants/bars within a short walk. It is a 20/30 min walk to Manhattan Beach (pier area), which also has a lot of eating and shopping options, there is also a supermarket in Manhattan Beach where you can get groceries, we normally walk down and Uber back. Looking forward to our next stay!!

This hotel offers bikes, boogie boards, and a pool. It is beautifully situated near cafes and the beach. The property itself is a bit odd, with some rooms in a back alley. The staff were accommodating and the bed comfortable. The walls are thin and one night my neighbors kept me up very late. other nights were fne!

Room amenities were good. Shower left a lot to be desired. Where the valve is vs where shower head is creates an issue with adjusting temperature of the water. Overall the room was impressive. Will stay here again.

Great location, super friendly. They have bikes, beach towels and chairs and volleyballs you can check out whenever! Sheets were very soft and beds were nice. Close to the beach, and close amenities as it is on the main street. They accommodated our early arrival!

Professional front desk staff. Great location. Parking available (although I think they charged me $50 and I don't think they told me in advance). Room was very clean. Short walk to the other side of town where most of the restaurants are. Right near the beach. Recommended.

0 stars these jerks have no compassion for traveling families! If you offer website reservations you should clearly state what your parking situations are and what you do and don't provide or offer. We traveled 1200 miles to this place just to be turned away. Then they didn't allow us to cancel our reservation they still charged us. The front desk boy called his manager about our situation they had a very sarcastic and unprofessional phone call about why this was my fault they are crappy people completely rude individuals!

We stayed 5 nights. The rug was nasty and stained. Sliding door wouldn’t lock. We had no housekeeping for the whole stay. Never changed the sheets, emptied trash or gave us clean towels!! When we complained they just shrugged!!! They say it’s near the beach but it at the top of a very steep hill!!

I recently stayed at the hotel for the second time now and couldn't have had a better experience. I paid to get a room with a view and it was outstanding. We almost didn't want to leave the view. The most beautiful sunsets each night. We especially loved walking along the strand and all the beach amenities that the hotel provided which included beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Even better was the use of bicycles. There was a bike path along the beach that stretched for miles and was great for checking out the other beach towns along the way. It also provided a great location for walking to plenty of restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Downtown Manhattan Beach with even more options was minutes away by car and Uber. Staff was friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
