My husband and I planned a weekend get away to Santa Cruz. We wanted to stay at a place near the beach/water. My friend recommended Sea & Sand Inn. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room was good size with an ocean view. The grounds were neat and clean and it was very quiet and relaxing. Our only complaint was the mattress in our room was not very comfortable. I think it's time to invest in a new one.With that said, we would still recommend staying at Sea and Sand Inn.

Santa Cruz, close to the Wharf, has several options to stay. But, for the past several years, The Sea and Sand Inn has been our only “go to” option. The manager’s (Gabi) hospitality towards us and her other guests helps to make our stay memorable. Freshly baked cookies in the afternoon followed by a wine and cheese hour, again, is a great complimentary touch. The morning complimentary breakfast is the best. Eggs, an assortment of muffins, sausage or bacon and a handmade yogurt parfait with an assortment of coffees and teas is a breakfast of champions.

Great location easy walk to the Wharf, restaurants, Boardwalk. Loved sitting by the fire pits, enjoying the nightly wine & cheese and afternoon cookie break. Views excellent - great sunrises, watching the surfers. Spacious comfortable rooms, excellent staff.

Got checked into room super quick.|Beautiful hotel ,amazing views of Santa Cruze Beach ,Boardwalk,Wharf, surfers ,sea birds …….|Hotel super clean well maintained.|Staff great, efficient,professional , personable.|Gaby was above and beyond with her hospitality, the added cheese board in the pm was a hit!|Makayla after hours saved us with adding a bottle of wine to our tab. |Another Sea and Sand Angle!| Thank You .

I love this place. Perfect view. The staff is super friendly. They also offer afternoon refreshment, and early evening wine & cheese.
Gaby helped me very much, she made my stay very easy, and smooth, and very pleasant. Super recommend!

I have stayed in Santa Cruz many many times, but this was my first stay at Sea & Sand Inn. It is beachfront with access to the beach down a bit. It has clean, modest rooms with a decent sized bathroom. All rooms have an ocean view overlooking the Monterey Bay and Boardwalk. It is super easy walking distance to the whole Boardwalk area. Parking was somewhat easy. I could see it being difficult during the summer. We tried to check in early and were told no. But they’d call if our room was ready early. No call. The staff was ok. Not overly friendly or welcoming. Some things I loved were the view, the rooms, the cookies in the afternoon and the wine and cheese reception in the evening. We sat by the outdoor fire and watched the ocean and beach activities. The bed was comfortable in the room. They were having problems either the WiFi and TV but did notify us of this upon arrival. There is a fireplace in the room that puts off a lot of heat. There is also a safe in the room. No elevators. The value was really really great. I will for sure return.

We had a very pleasant experience with Sea and Sand. Everything we did was within walking distance. I liked that we had our own carport spot. Staff was friendly. I would definitely book another weekend with them.
