Staying at Sea Rock Inn was the best decision we’ve made after staying in Albion for many years. Last year we stopped by to get an idea of the property and facilities. Three staff at the reception graciously showed us around the grounds and allowed us to see unit 15a, one of the few units with a walk-in shower. We reserved it on the spot. Cozy, well furnished, perfectly insulated against noise and errant temperatures. A year later, when we checked in, we were given a map of the grounds, a map of Mendocino, a list of choice eateries, and a listing of breakfast entrées served each day. An alternate entrée is available like granola, oatmeal, and even scrambled eggs. The breakfasts arrive at the unit anytime between 8 to 9:30 am according to one’s preference. And the brownies? Everything you may have heard is true! Perfect texture and just the right amount of sweetness. These are available throughout the day. But it’s the beauty of the rocks and ocean, the friendly and helpful staff, and the attention to details that have inspired us to reserve for the following year.

Everything was so cozy and charming here, from the room to the view to the breakfast and the friendly service! We were a group of 10 (5 couples in our mid 50s) and we had a great time at Sea Rock Inn. The walk to town is an easy and pleasant 15 minutes. The views from the property are awesome but if you just walk 10 minutes to the Headlands, the views are truly spectacular. The daily breakfast was excellent, and included a protein, pastry, fruit cup, juice and coffee, all of which were presented beautifully. The bed was super comfy and the showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Total 10/10 stay!

Booked one night for my birthday; I wish I’d stayed longer! Wonderful hidden gem of an inn. From booking to checking in, all around a wonderfully easy experience. The room is everything you’d want for a quiet getaway but still has everything you need. Breakfast in the morning is a delight; delivered to your door at the time you’d like. Everything is fresh and tasty and just the right sized portions. Checking out in the morning the manager was so helpful. She recommended things to do in town and places for great lunch. I can’t wait to go back and stay here. 100% would recommend the Sea Rock Inn!

Everything about Sea Rock Inn is amazing. You can't beat the view and everyone who works there is incredibly warm and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony, watching the sun set each night. Our cabin was spacious and very cozy and the daily breakfast was delicious and delivered right to our door, allowing us to ease into the day. I can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time at the Sea Rock Inn. Gorgeous location with views of the water and bluffs. Maybe because we arrived close to 6pm, the lady checking our group in was a little short with us, so our first impression wasn't that great. But beginning the next morning, all was forgiven as we woke up to that awesome view, and because everyone else we dealt with at the Inn was super nice, friendly and responsive. The breakfasts and coffee delivered each morning were a perfect way to start the day, and we have nothing but good things to say about the service, cleanliness of the rooms, and beautiful location. We would highly recommend the Sea Rock Inn to our friends.

Very friendly people with fabulous lodging! Perfect location, off the main road and walkable to Mendocino. The views are spectacular, and the grounds are gorgeous, with structures well-maintained. Clean and comfortable rooms, stocked with high quality accoutrements. Thoughtful touches like cushions to be brought outside so you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view -- which included a small towel to wipe away any coastal moisture before you sit! This is not to leave out the breakfast, delivered daily, which was absolutely delicious and a wonderful start to the day. 10/10 no notes
