Sea Breeze Resort - Glenhaven, California

My friend and I visiting from the United States decided to stay at Seabreeze on our trip to Baku. We had high hopes going in because it is supposedly one of the best beach resorts in Azerbaijan. As soon as we got there, we were faced with troubles, the reception is difficult to find, majority of the resort was under construction, and it was overall very inconvenient. Even though we were residences we still paid to enter the beach clubs; the beach and all of the beach chairs were dirty, the service was terrible and arrogant. There is no proper reception, and no follow up email was received on instructions for the process of checking in. The reception for our residence was near the pool area, and hard to find especially when the workers did not have any information on where to go to check-in. When it comes to our room, we asked for a beach view, and the only thing visible was the McDonald’s sign; our rainfall shower head was broken and almost fell on my head when turned on which is very dangerous and a hazard. When it comes to the restaurants, most were closed, even though our stay was during a weekday it should not have an impact on the lack of food and entertainment options. Most of the items on the menu were not available despite it being listed which left us being hungry at the end of the day. I think it would be extremely beneficial to make it more satisfying for guests to include full range of restaurants and entertainment all days of the week, after all it is a resort that people go to have a good time. It would also be nice to include some local boutique shops in the resort as it would bring more attention and business. And clear advertisement of the events happening throughout the week instead of the consistent advertisement of buying property there when they don’t create a favorable place to own something. My same friend and I do plan on visiting again maybe in five years to see if our expectations are met at that time, and the location is great I just don’t think it is being used to its fullest potential.

Just spent a couple days with my girlfriend. These people are absolutely fantastic and loving! While my girlfriend and I were there, they invited us to their yearly family dinner! The hospitality here is the more caring and loving you could possible ask for! The water is fantastic to swing in, everything is clean and just peaceful!

This place is perfect for a boater, family and a romantic getaway! The place is beautiful, clean and relaxing. The rooms are really nice. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The dock is clean with overnight free launch & docking. There is even swim noodles at the beech and dominoes in the lounge room you can play with. Not to mention free candy, popcorn & coffee! We will be back for sure!

This will be are 5th year at the Sea Breeze, the last 3 years we have stayed 10 nights, my Grandson just loves it there and so do we. Grandson loves to fish and this the place to do it with a large covered dock (lite at night) we can fish 24 hours a day if we chose to, we have caught catfish up to 13lbs, crappie up to 3lbs and large mouth bass to 5lbs. The grounds are tree shaded the lawns are lush and the flower gardens are great and the best part the owner Steve can't do enough to make your stay Fantastic !

My husband and I just stayed here for the weekend. Steve, the host, was very delightful and had a great sense of humor.

Our room was charming and clean. We stayed in Cabin 2, which had two twin beds that they moved together to make a king.

Their mattresses were pretty darn comfy and they had a cute little kitchen.

The kitchen had full of amenities, and it also had the cute little gas stove and oven.

They had a little room next to their office where you could get coffee, hot water, and hot chocolate in the morning, as well as microwave popcorn if you wanted it.

They also had a boat launch, and a little area where you could go down to swim. They also have a dock, so if you have a boat or you are being picked up by boat to go fishing by one of the people that offer that service on the lake, you could be picked up there.

The area of Clear Lake is not the best, and there's not that much to do other than play on the lake, swim, fish, or other water activities.

However, this particular location could not have been better. It was like a little oasis in Clearlake.

I forgot to mention, in their front yard, there is a Rose Garden, a glassed-in sitting area with towels for drying off if you go swimming, and a grassy area with a tetherball, and picnic tables.

He has quite a few little cabins, some of which are suitable for families, and some that are good for a couple to get away.

It was a very restful weekend, and I highly recommend this place!

This would be the quaintest of the quaint! Clean, best service, docs, boat launch, tether ball, lots of tables and barbecues, rose garden, occasional and seasonal fresh veggies (we had fresh zucchini and tomatoes for lunch one day), lawn area, and several other things I'm forgetting. We fell in love with this place. Having traveled most of my career, I don't give five stars lightly.

Sea Breeze Resort is the ONLY place to stay when you go to Clear Lake. All the cottages are just perfect for a vacation for 2 or for a large family. The host of Sea Breeze will make you feel welcome and will always be available to help you find your way around the lake. This is the best place to stay!

The nicest cleanest resort ever!!!! Casinos (4) nearby...The owner (Steven Nash) is so gracious and friendly. Go every year for a lot of years.. A must!!!
