We greatly enjoyed our stay. The Villa was very comfortable and roomy. There was just enough space and privacy for a family of 5. The activities at the resort were great for our kids (7, 9 and 12 years old). They enjoyed a lot the mini golf, swimming, playing basketball, tennis, badminton, etc. We would certainly recommend and stay again!

We had a great 3 bedroom townhouse. Lots of space to spread out. The property is older but very well maintained and clean. The pool is basic, but nice, the on property restaurant is simple but good food. The staff is wonderful and we used all the on-site sports equipment. Pickle ball, tennis, minature golf, and more. We will visit again.

We loved staying at the Camelback with our family. It was a family friendly place with lots of things for the grandkids to do. The units were in excellent condition and we were all very content. We rented a 3 bedroom, a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom to celebrate Christmas and we had a fantastic time.||We rented 3 units all starting on a different day. We received a message that if we checked out before 8am half of the resort fee would be refunded. So that is what our son's families did. When we (the parents/grandparents) checked out a day early due to our flights we were told we could not receive half off of our resort fee even though they had our unit a day earlier than expected. Don't know why?

The Spash restaurant on site has some new items. The meatball sub with fries is excellent. Owners receive 20% off if they spend $25. This is a great deal.||I have not tried the bruschetta yet. Nachos were also excellent as werevthe fries.||It is great to have a restaurant on site.

⚠️ BED BUGS WARNING

Our stay at the Scottsdale Camelback Resort was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel it’s important to share our experience to help others make an informed decision.

We checked in around 11pm and went straight to bed. Around 1am, we we woke up feeling itchy and discovered numerous BED BUGS crawling on the bed. I suffered multiple bites, which caused an incredibly painful and itchy allergic reaction that lasted for about a week. The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained, which only added to the unpleasantness. The sight of the bed bugs was revolting, but for the sake of those reading this review, I won’t include the disturbing pictures we took.

When we reported the issue, the manager saw the bites on me and showed pity, which initially gave us hope that the situation would be handled appropriately. The staff did move us to another room, and they reimbursed the two nights cost of our stay. However, our trip was significantly disrupted—we spent the night moving rooms, making a late-night trip to the pharmacy, and then half of the next day at urgent care. I had to take steroids and antibiotics due to the severity of my allergic reaction, which made the entire experience even more difficult to endure.

Adding to the frustration, when we submitted the $300 in medical expenses, the resort refused to reimburse us. They claimed we hadn’t registered all the names of our party, despite the fact that our reservation clearly showed four guests. This response felt like a convenient excuse to avoid taking full responsibility, and it left us feeling deeply disappointed.

While we appreciated the staff’s initial efforts to address the immediate situation, the outdated room, lack of accountability, and the physical and emotional toll of this experience make it impossible for me to recommend this resort. No one should have to go through what we did during what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.

The condos are nice and really comfortable. They have all the amenities for short - and long-term stays. They have fireplaces. You can purchase a firelog at the front desk. Small pool area with large jacuzzi, bar, games and craft area for kids. The grounds are beautiful and have different games to play like miniature golf, soccer, horse shoes, tennis. Much nicer than staying at a hotel.

Lovely place for an extended stay. We had fun canvas painting, swimming, and just relaxing by the pool. The restaurant is ok… they could use a few more options. Had a BLT and it was very sparse. Overall, we had a great time and will return.

Great location. Loved having a villa. Well equipped. Smelled a bit musty mixed with perfume and smoke. Pool was nice and spa was very relaxing. Joanna was a great masseuse. Gym was small but had everything you needed. Our big complaint was that they allowed construction to begin at 6am every morning in the villa right next door to us so it woke us up with their hammering. When I complained the front desk said "sorry" and that was it. All we wanted was to relax and sleep in but that didn't happen thanks to the loud noise.
