Lately, I've been checking out all the fried chicken spots, and this time, I found one after work. It's open almost every day until 11pm. The staff was truly friendly, the food looked good and tasted awesome, and the prices were, to my opinion, fair. I got the double slider with fries and what seemed to me like a street corn on the cob. The fries were fat and crispy. The chicken in the sliders was awesome. Personally, I always prefer some toastyness on my bun, whether it's a sandwich or a burger. Definitely stop by and have a bite! I almost forgot one of the best things!...they make some awesome homemade lemonades! I tried the strawberry (I wish I had ordered a jug!) and I also tried the raspberry. Great combo for the food! Try it!

First time trying this place because of all the hype I’ve heard. I should have read the recent reviews before wasting time and money. The chicken in the Sassy Grilled Cheese is so dry and has no flavor.
The Sassy Mac Bowl has no flavor. Chicken was okay, Mac and cheese has no flavor, coleslaw is dry and tots were hard and the pickles were nasty. The sassy sauce was bland and did nothing for the food.
Over all save your time and money and head over to Dave’s Hot Chicken.

High price. Service was amazing, nice spot outside to sit on some benches with some pop playing on speakers moderately loud. No indoor seating. When you go to order, the menu is on a TV behind you, which is a little awkward.

The food was great. Had a sandwich, which was like $15 with spicy honey (+3$), which was delicious but not spicy. The soda was $5. Overall, it's good, but the price is not justified. With taxes, it was like $25 for just a sandwich and a soda. It's a big sandwich, but that's too much.

As you've all seen I love fried chicken in anyway it comes. So visiting California I was taken to this place in Lancaster, Ca. This is a one location establishment. Their motto is a little love = good eats. They weren't wrong. We were a party of 4 and had the following, 10 pc Sassy nuggets w/ fries, 2 tenders w/ fries, loaded tots, loaded fries, jalapeño poppers and mac n cheese. Fries and tots come with coleslaw and pickles. Start off with the tenders, super juicy and crunchy. The asked for it mild but you can change the heat on any of the chicken. Next the nuggets, not your typical nuggets. They were nice and big, freshly made with a medium heat rub. Now the loaded totes super crispy all the toppings that are poured all over made it a great combination. I didn't taste the loaded fries but was told the are amazing. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and had a smooth taste. Poppers hot and crispy with just the right amount of cheese. The great thing I learned was that they use premium chicken breast's that are never frozen. The portions are big and every order is made fresh. I didn't have to wait long but was told that on the weekends it's better to order ahead. So I definitely recommend the food. The young lady who explained the process was really nice and patient. They only have seating outside. So thank you for the great food.

Im shocked that kfc and popeyes are still in business when this place is around. Sassy Bird is the best fried chicken in the AV, no competition 💯✨️

We ordered the cheesy sassy crunch with taters, and the lady helping us let us try their new sauces and their new Mac N Cheese balls for free! The mac n cheese balls were soooo good. so crispy and creamyyy 🤤🤤

the new Honey Mustard and BBQ were FIREE. the honey mustard is my favorite, its unique from any honey mustard ive tried. its sweet and lightly spiced, but still perfectly level and tangy. The BBQ was bomb too, it was smokey, sweet and richh, very very good with the mac n cheese ball 🤌✨️✨️

we also tried their blue raspberry lemonade! (which admittedly, i only wanted because the color was gorgeous) but dude its SOOO good. its house-made, and it hits like how fresh lemonade during summer-time as a kid used to.

15/10 highly-hIGHLY reccomend 💪✨️💯

I have lived in Lancaster for years now. I sometimes frequent the downtown area. I really like the vibe there. I decided today to find somewhere new to eat. I found this place. If you expect customer service, don't go here. First of all, the business doesn't have a sign out front to identify the business. Second, when I placed my order over the phone, the female was rude and seemed like she couldn't care less about my order and the questions I had about him. The food was seasoned. ( I had never been there, and when I sensed this in her tone, I explained that to her. Did it make it any easier. NOOO.
Third, when I went to pick up my food. I mentioned to the man at the register that they could use a sign out to identify the business. His response was, "Yeah, right!, I will let them know
me and started talking to the customer behind me.

Sassy bird is a Nashville fried chicken restaurant. In case you don’t know what Nashville hot chicken is it’s fried chicken with spicy oil for flavor. Sassy bird gets six different types of hot flavor and all of them are amazing. The first time I went here I got the sassy Mack ball. this is a bowl filled with mac & cheese, chicken of your flavor, pickles, coleslaw, and a choice of either fries or tater tots. I personally love tater tots and get them every chance I get, and I think you made a huge difference getting tater tots with his bowl. This bowl was everything I wanted all combined together. It’s packed with flavor and very very filling. Be prepared to want to take a nap after eating his bowl but well worth it. The second time I went there I got the loaded fries. Once again, you can get it loaded fries with your choice of french fries or tater tots or both. So I got the loaded half-and-half, which comes with have fries have tater tots, their sassy sauce, pickles, and coleslaw. I put pictures and the box was literally busting out with these fries. The first bite was phenomenal and I did close my eyes to enjoy it. I highly recommend one of these two dishes for the first time going. It’s a great introduction, but feel free to try everything on the menu because everything is amazing. I will be coming back to this place and I will be trying everything on the menu.

Normally my family and I LOVE sassy bird, but today one of our orders was supposed to be the mac and cheese dish (with the fixings) and another order had a side order of Mac and cheese that was supposedly 8 oz for an additional $6 dollars. You’ll see the pics below but my Mac and cheese bowl had little no no Mac and the side dish was a joke for $6 more. If they didn’t have as much Mac any more they could’ve just said so and we gladly would’ve chosen something else off the menu. The flavor of everything is always great and they usually have it ready in a timely manner I just wish we received what we actually ordered. Really disappointed.
