Very beautiful place, convenient location. Minutes away from Saratoga downtown. Very pleasant and respectful office staff. Love the to go breakfast, was very impressed of the presentation of the food. Very clean and safe area. I loved everything about it. Would def recommend this place.

We were invited to experience Filoli at night, lit up for Christmas and are from north bay so needed an overnight stay. Found this charming hotel tucked into the hill in Saratoga to be absolutely lovely. The hotel had pretty gardens, quiet, staff helpful and friendly and our accommodations comfortable and very clean. Plenty of choices for continental breakfast and good coffee. I would have given it 5 stars except that our bed linens, once peeled back smelled strongly of Gain or similar sweet detergent and I immediately got a headache. I am sensitive about perfumes and detergents but never in the hundreds of nights spent in hotels over 65 years have I experienced anything quite like this. I used a towel over my pillow to be able to sleep. The day after we arrived back home I was unpacking my clothes and began smelling that smell again and found it was my pajamas that reeked of that detergent! Luckily a machine wash got the smell out. I did drop a line to management to apprise and hopefully they have looked into it. For all I know I got a '1 off' / our linens missed a complete rinse cycle or something similar. At least I hope that is what it was.

Had one night here on route to San Jose. It's like a motel with direct access to rooms from outside, but it's very nice. Clean, big rooms with good AC for both heating and cooling the room. Breakfast on the go - decent offering to bring back to the room. Would stay again for sure!

Great quaint little spot for a day trip to Saratoga for visiting Hakone gardens. Clean rooms, good quality everything, friendly front desk staff. My favorite part of the room was the huge mirror, it was nice to be able to see the evenings extra curricular activities with the lady. We had front row seats to our own show. 10/10 will come back if in the area again.

The Lodge is a gem. It's quiet, clean, and well-appointed. It's near the Great Basin and all the things the area offers.

It's in the heart of peaceful Saratoga where you can eat, shop, and rest.

Our party rented 9 rooms for a wedding. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us. The cost per person to stay there was very reasonable.

They offer a nice continental breakfast.

Remember this place if you are planning a wedding at Saratoga Springs just up the hill, and consider having a reception or rehearsal dinner at Hong's just down the street. I'll review them separately.

Absolutely gorgeous spot! Reserved a suite nearly a year ago, loved that it’s down the road from the wedding venue I was headed to! The room was immaculate, the Japanese toilets were a nice touch. Only thing was, the television/cable system was outdated. Switch it out for a streaming service would really bring it up to speed. Even if you’re not in town to watch much television.

Positive: This place has an overall lovely layout. My room was huge. Premium surfaces,granite,mirrors,lighting,towel warmer,steam feature in shower and heated toilet and bidet. Wonderful sheets pillows towels. And bed. Nice deck huge fridge microwave,coffee maker Negative: It¿s has carpet which needs better cleaning on edges etc. And this is just a critique. The grounds could be wonderful! With some care. Lobby was clean but busy with stuff. My door to deck didn¿t close properly and the window crank hardware missing Negative: ""
