We stopped here for a quick bite on our way through town. Service was quick which exactly what we were looking for! We were a bit disappointed to find out that the bagels they use are just Thomas’ Bagels that you can buy at the grocery store. I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich and ended up removing the sausage as it was not what I was expecting. This is personal preference of course- my husband had the same sausage on his bagel sandwich and he ate it (but said he didn’t really like it and the sausage fell out easily). It seems like a cute spot of have coffee and a pastry but I wasn’t wowed by the food

Feeling a bit under the weather, so I decided to grab a hot tea. It was ok, based on the selection available. Pretty cool atmosphere. Would revisit to sit in next time I’m in town. First time in, and maybe it was silly to ask an associate what was next door. She replied “I don’t know.” —I say that too when I get tired of people asking me simple questions. Silly me, considering I have a phone. The Westin hotel sits next door. Got it!

The coffee is an unexpected treat! Not your usual cup of joe. The strawberry crepes were just the right amount of sweet.

Stopped in for a light breakfast while at a conference. Ordered a bagel sandwich and a cafe mocha. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and warm with a light, fresh scrambled egg & fresh sausage. Not heavy, just perfect. Without a doubt, they served the best cafe mocha I have had! I commented on it and was told it's the dark chocolate they use. It was so good, I ordered a second one to go along with one of their blueberry muffins. Cool vibe in the space and super-friendly staff. Great way to start the day! Plus, they have beer and wine all day!

First time here and we love it! It's a nice change from Starbucks. Just tried the harvest smoothie it's delicious!! (Lemongrass, spinach, kale, cucumber, kiwi, Apple). My daughter got a blueberry muffin and she gave it two thumbs up! People are really nice here and the atmosphere is pretty chill.

This place has great, reasonably priced food, but I had a serious problem with the service here.

The staff here brought the food out to everyone in the coffee shop, except for us. I'm not sure what or why this was the case, if it was because we were obviously from out of town or out of state; I had left a ten dollar tip on our order, and spent thirty minutes watching as they brought everyone else their order and had us just pick our order up at the counter. I would've appreciated some consistency.

I don't really ever expect to be served at a coffee shop like at a sit-down restaurant, and I usually tip despite knowing that. And for my sins I got to sit there for thirty minutes while my siblings raged out at me for tipping. And I can't even argue back because this time they were right. Lesson learned I guess.

So personally, while it's certainly got great food and great coffee, after this experience I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'd rather spend 8 hours in an ER waiting room or the DMV than ever come back to be frank.

Not a fan of the new smoothie methods. Idk it’s weird one guy who works there named Justin he does my drinks great every time but somebody made it and they said it was the new method and it was watered down taste great customer service though.

Love this coffee bar!! While I'm in town for work, this is my go-to! The coffee is amazing. Be sure to check out their local specials. The food is incredible as well. They make it fresh on site. None of the pre packaged stuff. As well as fresh backed muffins too. The staff is friendly and fantastic. The coffee bar is spacious, clean and has a great vibe with big windows as well. Can't recommend Santos enough when in Birmingham and the Up town area.
