Excellent . convenient location , the place was remodelled a few years ago. Very modern and super clean. Spacious and bright , staff is very pleasant . location is prime . Great value for your money . Will definitely stay there again , we walked to Pacific beach from there to have dinner, but there is plenty to do there . you can walk to the beach,. A must stay !

The room was modern. The location was convent to the La Jolla cove and San Diego sites. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were a little thin as were the floors. We could hear the person above walking about early in the morning and the person below talking on the phone. The fabulous Wayfarer coffee shop was within walking distance. We could also walk to a spot overlooking the ocean to enjoy the sunset.

Loved it! I wish the pool was a bit warmer as the weather never got over 70° during our stay. Also wish it was open earlier for that morning swim before the busy day! Otherwise, a nice place with recent upgrades. Some minor details still need updated, not worth mentioning. We had room 314, which is at the end of the building. We had a peekaboo view of the ocean from our private deck. We did notice the door didn’t automatically lock when we left and management said they’d look into it right away. We had to use the keycard to lock up when we left. Recommend you to check your doors 🙂

This place was great! It was a good price for a suite, which we got so my family didn’t have to sleep in 1 room, and having 2 tvs was a plus. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a good location, walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants, plus free onsite parking which was a must have for my husband. The heated pool was my must have, and we got a swim in before the weather got chilly. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit San Diego

The rooms are cheap and it's right by the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful and parking is convenient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and high tech. The bathroom has a lot of space and a huge vanity mirror and they have USB outlets.

I loved this place! Super clean, quiet, perfect location, very walkable. If you need a magnifying mirror bring it, not one in the room. There is a fridge but no coffee or microwave in room but there is one available to use by ice machine and coffee in the lobby in the morning. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip. Also, I slept very comfortably with the bed and pillows they have ❤️ 😍

People with service animals - BEWARE! I wish I had read the reviews before booking. I reserved a King Room with Balcony, expecting a spacious room with a terrace and a quiet street view, as advertised. Instead, I was met with discrimination and a serious downgrade simply because I have a service animal.

When I arrived, the woman at the front desk seemed immediately irritated by the fact that I said I had a service animal. Instead of giving me the room I paid for, she insisted on moving me to "another room that we have for dogs," as if having a service animal automatically meant I needed a pet-friendly space. I was placed in a handicapped room, which had a very low bed and a roll-in shower—clearly designed for someone in a wheelchair. It felt sterile and like a hospital room. There is no lamp near the bed - just 8 bright and obnoxious can lights overhead that add to the hospital room ambiance.

Service animals assist with many different types of disabilities, not just physical ones. I do not need or want a roll-in shower, and I specifically book top-floor rooms for security reasons due to a past physical attack. The front desk clerk decided for me that I would be "more comfortable" in this room, ignoring my actual needs and making assumptions about my disability.

To make matters worse, instead of the balcony and terrace I paid for, my room was shoved behind the office, with a view of storage boxes and the front desk. It felt like I had been placed in a storeroom, hidden away on ground level - exactly what I did not book. If this is how they accommodate guests with disabilities, they need serious training and policy adjustments. Not all disabilities are visible, and staff should not be making discriminatory judgments about where guests "belong." I purposefully selected the room I wanted - and paid EXTRA for it.

On top of all that, the room itself was outdated, uncomfortable, and unclean. It lacked a bathroom counter or vanity making getting ready impractical, had no extra door lock for security, and featured silver lame curtains that made it feel like I had stepped into a 1970s burlesque theater. There were black smudged handprints on the bathroom door. The final straw? A large black hair in the sink. After a long day of driving, I was too exhausted to fight for the room I had actually paid for, but the entire experience left me feeling deeply disrespected and unwelcome.

If you have a service animal, think twice before staying here. They do not follow ADA guidelines, they discriminate, and they downgrade paying guests to subpar rooms instead of honoring their pre-paid reservations. Unacceptable and very disappointing.

I reserved my room on Expedia everything seem great. Upon check out I noticed I got charged for sheets and towels? Thus was not disclosed on Expedia nor when I arrived. Also I have another pending charge of 55.00? They are stealing money stay away!!!!
