I have good memories of this trail, since is in Grantsburg Wisconsin, so DONT FORGET YOUR BUG REPELLENT SPRAY!. best season to visit From May to November.

Trail runs along the river with great views. Then a quick easy incline brings you higher on the cliff and the trail (following the A loop) runs back towards the parking lot. There are additional loops that can lengthen your hike. The A loop is 2.6 miles.

Quiet, easy hike with beautiful views along the river

I walked south from the river access noth of the highway there. It was a nice hike with nice trails along the river. There were picnic tables, fire pits, and barbecue pits there. A sign said no camping, but I do believe there is a campgrounds there. Dog was able to take a dip in the river and we took a stroll down the path. There were a few people there, it was a Saturday. Not a super long trail but still nice to hike with the dog.

Hiked here from the St Croix campground with my kids. The trails in this area are really nice. We wished the paths were more easily marked with maps so we could have gone through all of them but it was still a really great hike

We did this 3 mile round trip hike along the St Croix River. It was a fairly easy walk with minimal roots trying to trip 1.
We could see river at a number of spots.
