We had a phenomenal time here, and we’ll definitely be paying them another visit on our next trip to Napa! We split the Sam’s Cheeseburger and can safely say this was the best burger we’ve ever had!! This burger had fantastic flavor, was cooked to perfection and it melted with each bite! The Philly Cheesesteak Hash was delicious and we believe this was a special during our visit.

In addition, we order the Candy Cap Churros for dessert, which was also a standout here! On top of all that is their amazing staff, we were very impressed with the overall service! We highly recommend coming up to Calistoga and trying Sam’s Social Club, you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Tammy was very helpful to set up table for us in the patio with the heat lamp in the evening. Alex the server made great food recommendations and explanations for their homemade pasta. He noticed they might have the last order of pasta for the day remaining so he quickly reserved that order with the kitchen and they came back to take the rest of our order. The pasta was delicious and glad we had a chance to try it. The grilled octopus was crunch outside and tender inside. Steak frite was also tasty. Apple crumble with vanilla gelato ice cream hit the pot after a very enjoyable dinner. We would definitely come back to more.

Very beautiful inside, great atmosphere. Service was great - didn’t have to wait long for food and drinks. All dishes we had were delicious. The octopus was outstanding! It was cooked correctly and came out very soft - no tough or chewy parts at all. Even my boyfriend who doesn’t eat octopus ended up eating half of the dish. Would come back here to try their desserts next time!

Our dinner at Sam’s was absolutely scrumptious. We devoured every plate starting with the incredible grilled octopus to the peri peri chicken to the churros and butterscotch pot de creme for dessert! Just thinking about it makes me want to go back! All the ingredients tasted so fresh and the flavors were perfectly balanced.

Our server was efficient and friendly. She goes around her tables in order of when guests are seated, which I appreciate.

The only thing that could have improved our experience is if the bench seating outside wasn’t so high. I think the bench alone is the proper height but a long bench cushion was added to make it a softer chair. Any adult who sat on it though was too tall for the table. The couple next to us immediately switched seats because the height is so off.

The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful. I am really looking forward to coming back here.

The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch. We both ordered medium burgers, and they cooked to perfection.

Atmosphere and staff were awesome. No issues on that front - it's a nice place. Came here for the atmosphere mostly.

Food felt bland. We got the Mortadella and the Market pasta. Market pasta noodles were nice and thin, but ragu and onions were quite bland. for a $40.00 bowl of pasta - it should taste far better than what can be whipped up at home. Over-reliance on onion over garlic for a ragu - was interesting - The fries were great and were perfect, hence the two stars. The sandwich focaccia was good, but the sandwich itself - just fine. If you had served me at a random deli I would have not known the difference. Price to value ratio I felt was poor here, but you're paying for the atmosphere which is great.

The cocktail was great - blood and sand. Google should have a separate rating for drinks.

Overall - come for the atmosphere and vibes.

The food here is absolutely amazing. One of the best lamb shanks I’ve even had. Top quality ingredients, everything is very fresh and the flavors are inimitable! Very fun and lively place, a little bit hectic on weekends. The staff super helpful and very accommodating. Breana, Brooke and Jose went out of their way to make our night perfect and memorable.

Wonderful breakfast spot with a large patio. Breakfast potatoes and chicken sausage were super yummy. I’d probably skip the banana bread in the future, although the homemade jam brightened it up a bit. The service was also very good.
