We visited for the first time for a weekend get away for a birthday celebration. We stayed in the lower waterfront unit which was exceptionally furnished with a nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. It was an extremely quiet space with only the waves to be heard. Everything was very clean when we arrived as well. Beds were very comfortable and well made like a high class hotel. Location in the middle of Whidbey is great for exploring the island. Highly recommend this inn for quiet and relaxing get aways! Thank you for Barbara and Von for thinking of every detail in their design of their units and to checking in along the way via text to make sure we were comfortable. We look forward to future visits with you!

We stayed at Salty Vons in September 2024 and had an incredible experience! Our two bedroom two bath unit had super comfortable beds and pillows, luxurious towels to match the well done bathrooms (oh the shower!) high end features throughout with my favorite being the toaster. The waterfront view was more entertaining than any TV and we were even able to catch of glimpse of the Northern Lights on our last evening. The hosts are very friendly, professional and accommodating. The historic waterfront offered great restaurant and bar options, with fun shopping all within easy walking distance. I also walked to a yoga class! I really can't say enough about this place! I highly recommend it!

I was a guest at Salty Vons Waterfront Inn over labor day weekend, and quite frankly, it was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The view was incredible, and it was right on the waterfront, so everything we could possibly need was in walking distance. The suite was *immaculate*, everything seemed new and gorgeous, the furniture (especially the beds) were incredibly comfortably, the thermostat was easy to adjust, the shower head was awesome, and the water pressure was really good. Honestly, I didn't want to leave, and hope I get to go back again.

We are most definitely coming back! This place is phenomenal! Best location by far! Best views to watch the water! Bright, clean and beyond inviting! Hosts were fantastic! 5 stars all around! We just missed the Orcas! All aspects to the home are so well thought out! Location to shops and Toby’s couldn’t be any better!

Staying at this beautifully restored building was one of the best getaways we've ever had. The accommodations are an elegant nod to the charm of historic Coupeville with all the modern amenities you could hope for. Barbara and Von have created a true Pacific Northwest gem. The view across Penn Cove is breathtaking and we look forward to going back and enjoying the peace and quiet we found there.

We came to Salty Vons Waterfront Inn after an unpleasant experience at another hotel. I accidentally typed my email into the reservation incorrectly and called to get help. Barbara was so helpful and kind and offered to accommodate us by allowing us to check in earlier for a smoother transition. We were very impressed and touched by her great customer service, willingness to go above and beyond for us, and her kindness. She also went down to the room to start the AC for us to ensure we were cool when we arrived. Wow!

The room was incredible and gorgeous! Everything was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped. My wife and I were here to celebrate her birthday and this beautiful inn made it that much more special. Being right over the water was a cool experience. We got to watch the sunset right off the beautiful deck, which also had a nice garden with flowers in full bloom. The scent from the sea and the flowers and the sound of the waves gave us instant relaxation. In the morning we were able to see the pink and orange colors from the sunrise peaking through the darkened curtains and it made the morning more pleasant. Everything from the decoration to the attention to details in all the amenities made our stay feel more like a home away from home. We HIGHLY recommend staying here and would make the trip again just to stay here.

By far one of my all time favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Everything was so well thought out to make you comfortable. Barbara was truly a wonderful host and offered early check-in if needed and even stopped by before I left to introduce herself. The bed was incredible, the kitchen was spectacular and honestly I was sad to leave. Coupeville is magical and I can’t wait to come back and stay at Salty Vons again. Worth every penny!

We stayed in the bottom ocean-front suite with two kids. Salty Von’s is sparkling brand new and a luxurious experience. The kitchen is well-equipped but we didn’t do much cooking because there were so many great restaurants just outside our door. Coupeville is a darling town and I can’t say enough about how fantastic Salty Von’s was to stay in, you won’t be disappointed.
