Great hotel! We decided last minute to go for one night at Seaside and I booked it because of the price ($155/night). So many times you see photos that show a completely different reality but I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. Spacious enough for my two little girls to run around, super clean, nice bathroom, a pool. The breakfast was good, the staff super friendly, two blocks from the beach. We’ll be back for sure.

We had a great stay at the SaltLine. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. This place seems a bit more updated than other hotels. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathtub was jetted too. We would come back here any time.

Decided to book a last minute stay here and I’m so glad I did. I was surprised they were pet friendly as this is a newer hotel. Most of the hotels at the coast are always older/outdated so I was happy when I found this. Ended up booking the Executive Suite and it was amazing and had a great price. Only downside is you can hear literally everything in the hallways, including doors slamming and people talking, however most hotels are like this so I’m not gonna dock a star.

The room was very clean upon arriving and they had it ready before check in. The bathtub had jets which was very relaxing.

The beach is about 2 blocks away, maybe a 6 min walk. Lots of parking and great amenities. Since I took my dog with me I wasn’t able to check out the pool but it looked very nice. Was also pleased with the free breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

There are many hotels in Seaside, Oregon. n. The Saltline is one of them.

The Saltline is a newer hotel. Everything seems to have been recently purchased from Ikea and competently assembled. The room I got was new, clean and very odd. The first odd thing is that the bathroom sink and mirror, rather than being in the same room with the toilet and shower, is in the entryway. I guess this was so that while I lathered up to shave, I could drip water and shaving cream on the entryway carpet.

There is a rack to hang clothes, but it isn't in a closet. The rack just hangs from the wall. The rack also holds the ironing board, the tiny bathrobes that hotels like to provide, the iron, and, oddly enough, a Yoga mat. These things really do belong in a closet.

There is a single piece of furniture below the television that serves as a desk, a kitchen counter, a holder for the fridge, a shoe depository, and a place to put one's suitcase. It is all very clever, but sort of sad.

The hotel has a pool, an exercise room and a free breakfast, all of which are adequate and unremarkable. The breakfast has the usual collection of hotel free-breakfast fare presented in a manner that is slightly less depressing, although no more tasty, than its mainstream hotel chain competitors.

The hotel is close to the beach, to the convention center, and the street of tacky tourist attractions for which Seaside has always been known. Should you want to get your Skeeball on, it is close by.

If it is your goal to stay in a reasonably clean hotel in a depressed, touristy, beach town on the Oregon coast, there are many places you could go and the Saltline is one of them

The guy at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. The service was top-notch. It’s a great hotel that matches its price. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. They even offer bike rentals, and my child got a scooter to rent, which was a nice touch. There’s a small playground and games for kids, too.

The only downside was that the jacuzzi, which we were really looking forward to using, wasn’t working, and the pool was a bit dirty. I think I would come back here again.

We enjoyed our two-night stay...comfortable bed/pillows, clean room, etc. A comfortable lounge and breakfast area and the saltwater pool/hot tub was a plus. The staff we encountered were all very polite and helpful, definitely would stay here again.

We had a great 2 night stay at Saltline Hotel in Mid-November as a break to the coast. Got a great rate on Hotels.com for the Luxury Suite, King bed. This came with a sitting area that is separated by a 3/4 wall which is nice if your an early riser and don’t want to disturb your partner. Nice big bathroom with a jetted tub, good amenities including coffee, microwave and refrigerator. The room had plenty of outlets and dedicated USB charging outlets for all your electronics and the TVs had accessible HDMI ports if you want to bring your Roku, Chromecast or Fire stick to stream. Great big lobby where you can gather with friends around the gas fireplace, do work at some of the long tables. They also have a selection of board games, which was great since we happen to go down during a bomb cyclone storm (which, unfortunately meant we couldn’t use any of the outdoor amenities). We enjoy a rousing game of Yahtzee each night. They also have a fairly good free hot breakfast buffet. Nothing fancy, but enough to get you fueled up in the morning. Front desk people were friendly as well. Also, parking was plentiful and it located 2 blocks to the beach/Promenade walkway and to main street shops and amusements. The only reason I took off 1 star is that one of the reasons we like to do a mini break in the fall/winter is to spend time in an indoor pool and hot tub. At the time we went the pool was on the chilly side of a heated pool. Too cold to swim for me. And the hot tub was also under heated, I would have put it at about 80-85°F which is what I would expect the pool to be heated to. So we couldn’t spend the amount of time we wanted to. Also the room WiFi kept going in and out (but it could have been the storm) But other than that great trip, and we would definitely book again some time in the future.

We stayed here because we received a free night gift certificate, we were able to upgrade our room for just $9, and it was so nice. The room was spacious, and insanely clean.
The front desk staff were awesome and so helpful.
Parking and a decent breakfast were included. The hot tub and pool looked nice too
