Cons: it's not the place to go to the beach. Lunch at the main restaurant runs until 3 pm but if you arrive at 2:30 pm, there is no food replacement.

Pros: the all inclusive is pretty good. Almost all staff were super kind. Good infrastructure for traveling with children.

The resort is way too crowded for its size. Having a meal at the restaurant is a stress at most times as it is not sized for the number of guests. The food is good with a nice variety though. The pool towels management is a mess - you need to call to reception / online robot assistant (and wait on the line) to get a change of pool towels… not nice. Quality of bathroom towels is very low average, too old and ripped. Cleaning of the room was not tip top at all, terrace was never cleaned and shower just lightly cleaned most of the time. Bed sheets oh my… too old and ripped. Size of the rooms are nice though.

We stayed here with our Brazilian friends we were visiting. This was a great help to us as there were not many members of staff who could speak English so our friends were able to help when there were any issues.||||Our room was excellent on the ground floor, with a pool view. Everywhere is close at hand, a short stroll to the beach and a short stroll in the opposite direction to the restaurant. The whole area is kept very clean and tidy. There are activities for adults and the kids and most people appear to be having lots of fun. The beach is nice but the waves are big and powerful so care must be taken. There are lifeguards on duty on the beach and at the pool.||||The food was disappointing and the menu definitely needs attention. Breakfasts were fine but dinner was repetitive and I felt that often hot food was not kept warm enough. Having said that, desserts were outstanding but you can't live on that alone. The pizza restaurant down by the beach was popular if that is your thing.||||A nice place to visit but the food needs to improve.

The resort staff really are excellent. This is a fantastic place to go with kids, the kids club is phenomenal! The food and drink are excellent, and the restaurant staff provide great service. The things that stopped me awarding five stars were the administrative staff, as altering a booking was a bit of a nightmare, and the check-in was a bit slow too.

Salinas de Maceió is the perfect hotel if you are looking for peace of mind while travelling with kids.The hotel is charming and simple, the food is freshly prepared. The swimming pool, beach and the staff are very good. I must highlight the kid's club and all the activities they do to keep the children busy while the parents can enjoy some drinks at the beach. The spa area is amazing, absolutely worth it. The waves and tides were rather strong, but there is constant watch there and at the pool. Very good price for money. I definitely recommend it!

Great place. Good location near Parque Shopping. Nice beach and pools. A lot of activities for kids. Awesome volleyball matches. Really good food and excellent cost-benefice relation. 100% Recommended.

Great beach, tasty food, clean facilities and comfortable rooms. The people are great and the experience was amazing! The hotel is near the beach so you don't have to travel and the pool was clean. there were acquagym classes and the food was amazing.

I visited Salinas last week and i have nothing negative to say. It's a perfect place to stay away from big cities like São Paulo. They have great an lovely staff, great rooms and tasty food.||Finaly, I loved Salinas and I'll be back soon, maybe next year.
