We had Allison at salem travel plan our trip to Alaska. We wanted a self driving and rail trip to see interior Alaska. We had an extra day to ride horses while there. We could not be more pleased with this trip. Every little thing was detailed on our paper work. It flowed together well with active times and down times to relax and enjoy. Each excursion was well organized and gave a rich experience of Alaska. We knew which hotels included breakfast and which didn’t so no surprises. Shuttles services were well explained. I could go on but this fairy tale vacation was amazing! I look forward to it next trip with Salem travel.

We had Jeannell and her staff plan our multi generational family vacation to Italy. We gave them what we wanted to do and our budget and it was amazing. Everyone enjoyed it and we all had a great experience from ages 6-73. The accommodations she found were great and she was very responsive whenever I inquired and continuously checked in with me throughout the trip.
I would highly recommend them for travel planning and plan to use them in the future.

I worked with Jeannell at Salem Travel for a family travelling to Venice.
She was a lovely, very professional travel agent to work with. I appreciated also that she was always very quick in replying to all possible questions I had, at all hours of the day and also during weekends.

We knew we wanted to go to Europe but we weren’t sure what the best travel itinerary would look like. Jeannell at Salem Travel helped us figure out what cities we could realistically see in the time period we had, the right places to stay and the easiest methods of transportation. The hotels she picked out were just perfect and the train schedules were just right with no hiccups. We were able to visit Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Italy. It was an amazing trip. I used Salem Travel but never again. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but once we reached Greece, the trip would tell all. When we reached out to the agency to verify or confirm transportation, we could never get a response or accurate information, often leaving us to fend for ourselves--very frustrating. Once even concerned for our safety. When the agency told us to reach out to the travel agency they coordinated within Greece, and when we were getting no response, I asked Jeannell at Salem Travel to call me, and she actually told me, " I don't international calling; please text." This travel agency only wants your money. They do not care about you.

Salem Travel (ST) is the best! We have found them to be informed, helpful, and professional. They will find the best price available. We have used ST for numerous trips out of the country. Salem travel is amazing! We have taken two trips that we have booked through Salem Travel and they have taken care of everything for us! Even when the airline lost our reservations in the Dominican republic and made us buy two more tickets to come home, Salem Travel had it all fixed and our money back before we even got on the plane. (And on a Sunday, nonetheless) We will definitely comtinue to be repeat customers.
