The skipper Kevin was super relaxed and knowledgeable and made coming aboard his sailboat a welcoming place. There was some concern about possible bad weather but it ended up not affecting us and resulted in beautiful blue skies and a lovely sunset. I would definitely book another charter through him as he clearly knows and understands what he is doing with the utmost confidence and safety in mind.

To celebrate our anniversary, we did a private sail with Captain Kevin aboard his beautiful schooner, Anse La Roche. Kevin effortlessly, and with knowledge and ease, sailed us through the beautiful San Juan Islands, and was a great host. We enjoyed our time aboard, and made some great memories. We highly recommend this wonderful adventure on this amazing sailboat!

Our trip was a five star adventure! Couldn't have been better! Kevin was very kind to wait for one of our daughters running a bit late. It was a perfect evening sail. Light wind, beautiful sunset, kind and friendly caption and co assistant. My husband and I could all visit(with all 3 daughters together), have dinner and soak up the beauty surrounding us. And Kevin even did a cannon salute! I didn't know anything about that part. Our almost 7 year old grandson was so happy. The stars were all lined up this memorable evening! Thank you

Kevin and his team are awesome! My friends and I wanted to embrace the warm summer weather, so we booked a day sail, not really knowing what to expect. It was terrific! Sailing with Sail Anacortes is definitely now one of my go-to recommendations for special occasions and when we have visitors in town. It's easy to sign up, communicate with the skipper and once you're on the boat, it's pure relaxing and bliss.

We already went back a few weeks after our first experience because it was just so good (and it will not be our last time)!

Sometimes the planets align…favorably…Sometimes it’s just good planning. This excursion had to have held loads of both.
Captain Kevin over-delivers a favorable memory in all areas of a dream outing. His understated maritime credibility along with his contagious thrill for his vessel and with sailing only sets the stage for extemporaneous memory moments and snapshots to hold for a lifetime.
I’m scared of sailing and was not happy to have been surprised with a trip to reward the “smiling guy (dark blue shirt) at the wheel” but wow was I wrong. From the start Cap Kevin was gentle and supportive, always advancing the thrill of sailing at a pace to allay my fear and to reward the thrill seekers.
A moment in my life’s timeline that I will replay till my memory is no more!

We booked a 4 hour (half day) sail with Captain Kevin in late June. All I can say is that if you are considering a sailing charter in Anacortes, this is a winner! When I saw the boat at the dock a week before our sail, I was initially concerned that since all 6 of our family are over 6 feet tall, that we would not fit. I emailed back and forth with Kevin and he was very kind and understanding but assured me we would be just fine. So glad we booked as it was just awesome. There was PLENTY of space for the 6 of us plus Captain Kevin. He even had comfy seat cushions he provided and bean bag chairs for the teens on the bow of the ship. We had a wonderful sail and lovely view of some of the islands from the water including Guemes and Saddle bag Island. A good time was had by all including my father who loves sailing but had not been in a very long time. Kevin let him take the wheel for a while and I am not sure I have ever seen my dad happier. I missed much of the scenery on the way back just watching my Dad's glowing face and enjoying his happiness. We will definitely be back for another sail on his next visit. I strongly recommend Kevin and his ship for your future sail.
