One customer said, "Nice little gem in Fairbanks if you're craving for pho. The restaurant feels homey and has good service too. I ordered filet mignon pho and char siu pork rice. The beef is tender and the soup is comforting. Portion is big enough. Char siu pork is ok, tastes a bit different and not charred enough like the authentic one, maybe because it didn't use red yeast rice. The price is quite expensive but it's reasonable for Alaska. Service is friendly. Will come back for the pho when it's cold snowy days."

Best pho around! No lie the chicken spring roll was perfect because it was freshly cooked chicken which was very flavorful. I got the combo pho which includes brisket, rib, and fillet mignon. Also includes meatballs but I asked to have it substituted for chicken, and my request were met with:)! Very friendly service. Legit the best!

Saigon Garden was a lifesaver during the freezing winter in Fairbanks. We needed something warm, and it was definitely worth the visit. Beef short rib pho was the best. The bathrooms and dining tables were clean, the service was excellent, and we highly recommend it!

This place is great! Went here for lunch and dinner in the same day.
Whenever I try Pho in any restaurant, I try the broth straight, without anything else to see how it genuinely tastes. I must say it was good!
The first restaurant I’ve seen with the correct sauces: Sriracha, Hoisin sauce and chili oil.

For dinner, I had their beef Bahn Mi and Viet iced coffee w/ condensed milk.
The beef was flavorful and pickled vegetables were on point.

Hello to everyone reading. I came to this place wanting some Vietnamese food and being in Alaska i Wasn’t sure if it would be good..However Saigon garden did not disappoint at all. My wife and I came and I got the shaky beef and my wife got the chicken pho. Both were very very good down to the sauce and her broth. I would definitely recommend them both and also the spring rolls, with the delectable sauce that comes with it! It is a nice atmosphere and beautiful restaurant upon walking in

All the local restaurants in North Pole are really good. Like way above average.

This one takes the crown for me. I first got into Vietnamese cuisine when I saw Anthony Bourdain eating grilled pork with white rice. This place has amazing grilled pork/pork ribs, and amazing pho.

We had the vermicelli w grilled pork, rice plate with pork ribs, and filet mignon pho. They were all extraordinary. 10/10 across the board.

Saigon Garden is decent if you are in the mood for Vietnamese food. I ordered the Pho which I’ve had in many different states. First the aroma was there and the flavor was subpar. It lacked the star anise taste and the pungent flavor. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t horrible it just fell behind from all the other places I’ve tried it. If you are visiting from the East Coast you will definitely understand what I’m talking about. Secondly there was no shortage of beef and even came with a de-boned beef rib, however they could have been more generous with the noodles. Lastly the server did not once come back to check on us. Hell we could have dined and dashed and they would be none the wiser. The inside of the restaurant was the most familiar of those on the East Coast with the decorations. Overall, there aren’t many options for Vietnamese here in Fairbanks so go ahead and stop by Saigon Garden for your fix of Vietnamese.

Top notch. Came with a group of 4, ordered all different meals, and we loved everything that came to the table. The cream cheese butterflies were especially great. Met the owner's family and now I love this place even more. If I were local, I'd be a regular. Better than all the comparable restaurants down in Anchorage! Highly recommend.
