We stayed at Sagecliffe 4/11/25 for a quick get away. When I made the reservation I ordered a bottle of bubbles to be in the room, it was not. Had to go to front desk and ask for it, no apology from staff. The location, Cliff House room and view are great. We knew it was still off season, but they did not seem very well prepared. The in room phone did not work. We had to go to the whiskey bar to order take out pizza which was supposed to be very good, the crust I suspect was frozen. There were no plates, silverware or paper towels. Breakfast you ordered at a walk up window. The woman there was awesome and breakfast was good. The place is old and in need of attention. Walking the trail down to the river was great. It is overpriced all in all. Bread and butter obviously is the amphitheater. Great location and view, however not a 4 star resort. They try, but fall short.

I went on a birthday trip with my sisters to Sagecliff and we all had the best time!!! The restaurant was delicious and the views were spectacular. We all also got massages at the spa and it was exactly what we needed. Prior to our massage we had a chance to talk with our masseuse to make sure we got exactly what we needed!! We all had slightly different but all round an amazing experience. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a crowd free, quiet, and relaxing weekend. We also stopped by the winery and it had a great relaxing vibe.

Our stay was absolutely peaceful, and Cottage 8 had the most breathtaking view! Tendrils Restaurant was a highlight of our trip—the food was incredible! We started with the artichoke dip, which was so rich and satisfying that we had to take part of our entrées (scallops and meatloaf) back to the cottage. When we brought them back the next day, the restaurant went above and beyond to make them look just as beautifully plated as before—such a thoughtful touch!

The customer service, the food, and the stunning views all exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Nice place to just get away and relax in the middle of nowhere. It's really quiet. The rooms were ok. They have cold concrete floors and the outside reminded me of modified shipping containers. The siding is a rusted metal. It had everything you could possibly need to have a long stay inside. It's says dog friendly, but unless your dog's like peeing or pooping on rocks. I would say not very dog friendly. Both our dogs were limping after one day from all the rocks and gravel. Food was really good. It's a bit pricey for lodging and food though.

It's winter so we expected an off season pace without considering that the restaurant would have limited choices but the food was fine with great choices for wine. The Cliffhouses have amazing views but be prepared for extra firm beds. After the first sleepless night we requested a room change but the bed in the room we were shown was just as hard.

I first dined here in 2010, and I'm glad to see they are still serving great food and wine. Two of us had the bacon wrapped meatloaf while another opted for the filet. The meatloaf was huge and tasted great, but I wish it was served a little hotter. The filet was quite a sight to see. About 2 inches thick and perfectly cooked. The wine choices were superb, and we each bought a bottle to take home. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had a nice stay here for a group gathering - in February. Fluffy snowfall made the area striking - the units were warm and cozy and well stocked. That said, 175 fee for one night plus 150 cleaning fee - makes me question the value.||This place must be a BLAST in the summer when the artists stay there to play at the gorge. I am sure those units are super expensive but with the pool open and people dining outside - it must be amazing.

Absolutely breathtaking resort. Our room was incredible. It was a slice of Tuscany right here in Washington. We dined at Tendrils both for dinner and breakfast. The food was phenomenal. We tried the homemade meatloaf and bourbon apple brie. WOW. Also tried the wood-fire pizza and our kids loved it!

We had smores by the firepits and loved our visit in every way. The owner is an amazing person with a warm welcoming soul, incredible creative energy and a visionary.

Cannot wait to come back. Thank you Sagecliff!
