Everything was amazing! Meat was cooked how I liked, server kept checking in on me at perfect intervals, kept drinks refilled, atmosphere was good, lots of people but still quiet to have a conversation, felt like an old southern pub 😊❤️

This was our final celebratory meal on our way home after a 2-week biking trek and we were very hopeful it would be good. It was better than good, it was absolutely delicious. We were waited on by highly skilled and attentive staff. My water glass was never empty… which is a feat. There was a bit of a mix up on my side, but it was immediately taken care of. If we are ever through this area again, we would definitely stop by. Delicious!

Great fish dinner! Excellent French fries! Friendly, attentive waitress. Ribs were tasty but fairly dry on one end. Overall good! Will try again.

It was very quiet. I heard someone say, "We have no wifi and no music." I'm not sure if that's the norm or if they were experiencing tech problems. The food was good. I'd even say fairly priced. I ordered the ribs. 6 bones, to be exact. It came with fries and baked beans. The beans were really good. The fries were also tasty with some kind of batter and then fried. The ribs were falling off the bone. They lacked any kind of smoke flavor but were good due to the sauce. Boiling ribs rob them of their flavor, so if I guessed, I'd say they were boiled. Not bad ribs at all. They just lacked smoke. I will definitely return.

I’ve had Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Memphis and saint Louis ribs. I’ve never had anything better than right here at Ruttenbucks bar and grill. Damn good. Exit 11 by TA Truck stop. My waitress Kelsey was awesome and on the move.

Walked in Monday, around 530pm, got a booth table immediately. The server was very nice. We got the sweet tea- Very good, not just for Northern sweet tea, but this could rival any southern joint. (It's really sweet so if that's not your thing don't get it). It came in a 4 cup mason jar.

I ordered the full rack of ribs figuring I'd eat it for three days. I'll probably get four or five servings out of this! The meat was mostly fall off the bone. I got the traditional BBQ which was pretty flavorful and slightly sweet as I expected. It came with two sides.

I got the cowboy baked beans- the temperature of the sun (good) but so so good once they cooled off. Different types of beans in a traditional baked beans sauce.

I also got the "baby baked." These are fingerling potatoes. Whoever named these and the "Cuski" (couscous) was having a blast, though I did have to double check what those are since I have allergies.

My husband got the Mountaineer Fillet, broccoli, and "sweet tater" in the form of a sweet potato casserole. It has pecans in it, (I love them, he doesn't) but I think overall he enjoyed his meal.

Overall for two people $60 + tip to eat and have This much food was a good price. The portions were large (I'm going to be eating my ribs for a couple days as leftovers).

I'd recommend this place to any in the area. It's across the street from the TA so there is truck parking if you don't mind walking across the street. It's totally worth it!

Driving home on a 2 week vacation down south, we needed to break up are 8 hour drive and found this fantastic bar and grill right off of I-70 E. Right off the bat we were greeted by Carissa the bartender and was promptly served drinks and placed orders for food. While waiting the owner Leslie introduce herself and engaged in conversation about other wonderful cities we all had been and to visit. The food and drink were fantastic and highly recommend this stop on any road trip taken you thru West Virginia.

Decided to have lunch here and I wish they were in my hometown. The food tasted great. For my taste the wings were a little over cooked but not a big deal. Food here is inexpensive and the beer was as well. I will definitely be going back. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere
