Could be a nice site. Trash everywhere and Dog poo. Dunked up beach from people who live there in their campers. Said they had full hook ups, they didn't. Water was shared from neighboring campsite and no sewage hservicnot outstanding service either. PLUS google takes you to someone's house. . And expensive for what it was.

Loved the cabin we rented last weekend. We were able to rent a fishing boat and paddle boat. Provided towels and ice even in cabin. A tv with plenty of options. Perfect shade area and picnic tables. Such a nice relaxing time. Definitely going back!

Interaction with the owner made a confirmation to never stay at Private Campgrounds!! On our arrival he asked $77/night (Wednesday night!) and when I challenged him that he actually had few places empty he dropped to $55 for a tent site only and rudely walked away annoyed… Extremely Disappointing experience….
SUPPORT our beautiful Washington State Parks, cheaper and way more beautiful and without a bad attitude!

Nice campsite along the lake. Checkin time is rather late 3:00PM. No help on arrival, confusion finding parking place. Great view! Unusable WiFi. Calling this campground a resort and our site premier is a bit humorous. With Electric and shower surcharges our site was over $200 for 2 nights!

We stayed a night here on the way to Yellowstone. The park was clean but the layout is very odd. They seemed to have stuck spots wherever they thought they could fit one. We had probably the best spot in the camp at #9. The lake in that area wasnt great for swimming as it was very mucky. Lots of boats going out from there though. I wouldnt stay more than a night. We camped at Ruby's Resort & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Won't be staying here on our return trip! We made reservations about 3 weeks ago and paid extra for a "locked site" with 50 amp power. A few days before we were due to arrive I received a text asking if we would mind switching sites to a full hookup but only 30 amp power and they'd honor the original price we paid. Since we were only staying for 1 night we agreed (and our unit can run HVAC on 30 AMPS if we watch how we use other electronics), we also decided that since we now had full hookups, we'd fill our black water tank in order to thoroughly clean the sensor on the drive over there. We arrived about 4:30 PM and no one was there to check us in and of course we had no idea where site 21 was. Called the number and a guy, Joe (?) answered and said there was already someone in 21. I told him I had a confirmed reservation and documentation to prove it....he finally came down from where ever he was and determined another guest arrived earlier and said they had site 21 so he checked them in. After a bit of playing around with the reservations he offered us a 50 amp/partial hook up site on the lake (No spetic). I explained we were told we'd have full hookups and our black tank is full. So he showed us the dump station and then showed us the new site. The dump station sat on a slope, so we were not able to completely empty our black tank. Getting to our new site, I specifically asked if we could parallel park because it was so small and very little room to maneuver in the entire park and we planned to pull out very early the next morning... he said no problem. We got set up, started to relax after driving over 400 miles in 100+ degree heat and then another trailer pulled in right next to us and thus blocked us in. We called Joe and asked for assistance...he came down and had clearly already had a few drinks and was difficult to deal with in that state. He ended up being no help, but thankfully our new neighbors were gracious enough to pull their trailer over as far as possible and parked their tow vehicle elsewhere so we could get out without disturbing them the next morning. Oh! And Joe knew nothing about the text moving us to a different site, which thankfully I did save in case we needed to be more firm about the dilemma their incompetence put us in. Numerous times we were told a credit would be issued to us for the inconvenience and to watch my email….so far that too has not materialized. Any KOA would have been better.

If you have any doubts about the accuracy of this account; just read the owner’s response to others complaints and you’ll easily see where the problem lies. Once again, it was my mistake for not researching reviews before making reservations. Lesson learned.
And yes, my husband did have a beer once we were parked and set up….who wouldn’t after a 400 mile drive and the unnecessary stress this place put us through. At least my husband didn’t get $hit faced drunk; unlike the host at this site.

This place is fabulous for a weekend stay! We got a riverfront site, and it was just wonderful! There was a nice sandy beach to put water toys on, lots of shade, beautiful trees. The lake itself was perfect for kayaking. Bathrooms/showers were being remodeled, but looked very nice! Clean port a potties and the owner and manager worked so hard everyday to make sure everything looked great! The only issue was the sprinklers ran at noon, so we had to move stuff around, but other than that it was a great place to stay!

Stayed here for a week in June.

The park staff were very friendly and helpful.
The park was well maintained.
The shower was clean with nice water pressure and hot water.

Though I didn't catch much there was plenty of shore access to the lake and access from the docs. They had boat rentals as well if you wanted to get out into deeper water.

The park manage set me up with a rubber worm set up that he said he had had good experience with when fishing for bass.

Only negative I had was the weather which is beyond their control.
