This place just gives off the perfect old town movie dinner vibes. Super clean and beautifully decorated! The atmosphere is there. However, the food is okay. It's like a watered-down version of In and Out. Lacks in flavor, but it makes sense since dinners were mostly for certain crowds to begin with. Even so, for what it lacks in flavor, it does make up for with the staff. They are absolutely incredible, super professional, and reliable! It's just amazing! I would recommend that everyone tries this place at least once!

Great 50’s vibe! This place is on Pacific Coast Highway! Antique cars in front of the restaurant. Jesus was our waiter. So attentive and friendly with a splash of politeness. Several locals were here as well. We ordered the Cobb salad X2. Wow super fresh ingredients! Outstanding. Great prices! Fantastic! Loved it! Highly recommend it!

Stopped by for lunch. The classic cars by the entrance let us know we were in for a treat. I ordered the Shrimp and Chips, and my friend had a burger with fries. The hot coffee and the iced tea I had were both fleshly brewed, and the shrimp were fresh and cooked perfectly, hot and crispy without too much breading. I enjoyed a Rootbeer float for dessert, and my friend had a huge slice of apple pie with ice cream. Both were very good.

The waiter was friendly, courteous, helpful, and attentive. He made us feel right at home.

This is a Rubies very much worth visiting. We enjoyed a great experience dining here.

I've been looking for a place like this since moving to the US last year! I’ve always been excited about the typical 50s-style American diner you see in movies, with red leather benches, black-and-white tiled floors, and classic burgers and milkshakes. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere feels straight out of a 50s movie, complete with vintage cars in front, waiters in traditional uniforms, and even chewing gum machines. The food is fantastic too. I really enjoyed the vanilla milkshake and highly recommend their vegan burger – it’s amazing. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I can't say if it’s 100% authentic, but you’ll definitely feel like you're dining in a classic movie. It was also lovely to see many older patrons, likely drawn in by nostalgia.

I thought the brokers were very good as well as the fries. The milkshakes are outstanding. The atmosphere is an nostalgic diner. Sit upstairs. If you can outside I would definitely go back.

My nephew had his wedding reception at ruby's diner. The food was excellent and the service was great the view from the top of the diner on the rooftop.

we sat rooftop for lunch on a Sunday day afternoon, it wasn’t crowded, the service was friendly, and the food was delicious diner food with a view! The calamari was especially good, a little different than typical but very crispy and fresh.

I am almost certain this is the best Ruby’s Diner that I have eaten at. The service was fast and kind, the view was beautiful on the patio and the meal was fantastic! I had not a single complaint. The bun was soft, the meat cooked well with a lot of flavour, not too greasy, mushrooms were cooked with love and the fries had a great balance of soft and crisp. The milkshake wasn’t too thick. Everything was amazing! Will be coming back anytime I get the chance. ❤️
