I would give Ruby June more than five stars if that were an option. It was our first time staying and we will absolutely be back again and again. Chris was an excellent host, wonderful to chat with and extremely warm and welcoming. The room was absolutely gorgeous and the grounds the same. Breakfast was delicious, the dogs were adorable, the ice house was magical, truly an incredible night away in the Gorge. Very much looking forward to our next visit!

The Ruby June Inn is SUCH a special place. The love and thoughtfulness that has gone into each room is unmatched—from the beautiful artwork, one of a kind furniture, to the incredibly cozy bedding. It’s so tastefully done.

And don’t even get me started on the breakfast—it’s lovely. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious quiche, a warm scone, and other tasty goodies.

The hospitality from Chris and Gretchen is truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. They gave us tons of recommendations on things to do - all of which we loved. This inn is one of a kind, and I can’t wait to return for a garden chef dinner in the summer and to raft the White Salmon River.

All I can say is wow—thank you for such a memorable weekend. We will be back again and again. ❤️

So many amazing things to say about Chris and Gretchen and everything that is RubyJune Inn. As a wedding photographer, this place is a photogenic dream! The grounds are cozy yet spacious, ideal for an intimate wedding, gorgeous blooms even in the late Summer, and the Icehouse is such a special element to this place. The rooms are beautifully lit and curated to feel warm and personalized, the food is incredible and paired with the best wines. Chris and Gretchen are attentive, warm and so welcoming. Cannot recommend enough!

5 stars doesn’t feel like enough for the amazing experiences we have had at RubyJune Inn. Our stay in beautiful, spacious Room 6 was a fun and relaxing getaway. Everything about our stay felt like it was thoughtfully curated just for us - the breakfast, local coffee, and fantastic wine to enjoy while playing games in the icehouse were all on point. Their recommendations for local hiking, dining and wine tasting were all perfect for us. We have also throughly enjoyed the exceptional Chef’s Collective Dinners. RubyJune is a very special place and we can’t wait to get back there again!

We could not have had a nicer stay. We stayed in room 6: king bed, big shower, very large room with couch, and high quality linens. The breakfast was great. I had quiche, yogurt, granola and fruit, my husband had bakery bread toast and scones. They had gluten free options. The hosts were extremely nice and gave us good information about local attractions. This was an excellent place to stay for our Columbia River gorge exploration. If I am ever in the area again, I will go out of my way to stay here.

I love this place! I actually live in the Gorge and attend their Chefs Collective Dinners. The dinners are so memorable. I love being able to experience a variety of Chefs. Chris and Gretchen are amazing hosts. I also have stayed the night and room 5 was just lovely. Beautifully decorated and I greatly appreciate how well kept everything is. I will definitely stay again.

Amazing stay! We absolutely loved the RubyJune Inn. The beds were so comfortable, the rooms decorated wonderfully, and both the room and the bathroom were very clean! The owners clearly put a lot of love into this place, including the gorgeous patio, the ice bar (which sadly we didn't even have the time to enjoy), and the farmhouse kitchen. The food was exceptional, so fresh, healthy, and tasty. We were the only guests staying at the time but Gretchen and Chris were still great hosts, giving us great advice on places to eat (Henni's kitchen was one of the best meals on our ten-day trip!) and the hike to the falls that Chris suggested was also a trip highlight. Definitely stay here if you are in the area!

Our experience at the Ruby June Inn was incredible! Chris and Gretchen were spectacular hosts and the atmosphere and location could not have been better. We listened to records in the ice house and enjoyed a relaxing evening in the beautiful garden. We were just across the road from beautiful water falls and the river. They suggested a hike that was transcendent! The five course evening meal was a wonderful experience. I would stay a million times over! Wonderful place and wonderful people!
