I haven't personally stayed there myself because I lived right down the road, but 2 of my family members have and 1 other person I know that was in need of finding a place to stay for the night and not one of them had anything bad to say about their stay. Actually each and everyone of them said they as long as he was available, they would not be staying anywhere else. They said he was so polite, the food was amazing, he made the stay feel like home, everything was clean...well...pretty much spotless and it was overall one of...if not the best place to stay! Thanks for making their stay so relaxing and comfortable!

I stayed at the Royal Oaks B&B a couple weeks ago and it was amazing! I was touring with a trio of musicians and due to scheduling hassles we were pulling in incredibly late. The owner, Mr. Foster, stayed up and happily let us in showing us around the place. There are cottages out in the backyard, but we stayed in the main house in two incredibly large rooms upstairs. The house is a homey museum if I must say. From an mix old and modern art work, to even a letter written in the 1600s that Mr. Foster found. Although, he was ready for bed quickly, he showed where some snacks, drinks, and liquor if we so choose was located and then bid us adieu for the night. The beds were so comfy and I almost literally felt like I was at my own home...but oh so much cozier and with tons more character. In the morning Mr. Foster made us one of the best breakfasts I have had at a hotel or B&B! The eggs were creamy (which he said he added cream cheese to) and the sausage was so flavorful (which he said he added OJ to.) TASTY! Unfortunately we didn't get to stay long, but he was wonderful to chat with and we got to see the lovely backyard which has hosted weddings, has a lovely swimming pool, and if you are lucky you will get to see the GORGEOUS peacocks roaming the area. I'm not one for gambling nor really need to, but right next door is the Wind Creek Casino which Atmore takes great pride in. Only Slot Machines but everyone there was so kind when we met. Mr. Foster says he might be selling the B&B, but until then I highly recommend whether you are staying around or simply passing down the road!

I cannot say enough good things about the stay we had at Foster's B&B! My family of 4 (two kids 5 and 11 mos) was weary from a long 12 hour day in the car and we slept like babies in the king size bed upstairs. We had a great shower with good water pressure (very important in my opinion). Foster provides shampoo and soap that are much better than your standard hotel fare. The bed was clean and fresh and his home is so charming! At the time of our stay there were 20 peacocks roaming wild on the property and they are not shy! My daughter loved them, and Foster has feathers he gave her. ||||So this is a bed and breakfast... And the breakfast part is exceptional here. Everything from a good cup of coffee to the fresh fruit and jam that Foster makes himself was exceptional. He even gave us a jar of homemade pear jam to take home. I have to say he is more charming than his home, and that is saying something. We stayed upstairs in the house and had a wonderful time.||||His prices are also great compared to other B&Bs we have stayed at. You can't go wrong here! If you're looking for somewhere to stay around Mobile I highly recommend taking the quick 20-30 minute trip out of the way to stay here.

I stayed here for a few days on a business trip. My client was in nearby Brewton, I chose this place based on the reviews here. Foster was an excellent host, and a great cook. Nothing like starting the day with a great breakfast and the casino up the street has some great places to eat. I stayed in the main house, the room was nice and clean and so was the bath! ||||Thank you for making the trip so great!

We lucked upon this little B&B at the last moment while looking for a place to stay for a concert at the Wind Creek Casino. It's located within walking distance of the casino but secluded enough not to see/hear/notice the hustle of the casino. Foster, the owner, is a first class man as evidence by his recent awards for "Model Citizen" in the town of Atmore, AL. The facilities are a step up to a step "back in time". Like staying at Grandma's house with all the amentities of a 4-5 star hotel. It started with Foster picking us up at the small airport as we flew our small airplane into the Atmore airport. He was insistent on picking us up and taking us back. When we arrived, he showed us our room with private bath, king size bed and fresh homemade brownies and bottled water. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean, just like Mamma's house with free Wifi and DirectTV. He took us to casino and we rode casino shuttle back since it was little cold to walk but easily walkable. We had to leave around 9 AM the next morning but not before Foster made us a huge breakfast (included in the cost). He ask us for time we wanted breakfast and what we preferred. It consisted of coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes (excellent potatoes), English muffin, fresh fruit, orange juice and homemade jellies at 8 AM. He even gave us a jar of homemade jelly! If you haven't ever stayed at a B & B don't expect the same "impersonal mundane service" as a standard hotel and don't call at 2 AM to check on room availability. Most are family run with a passion for service. Foster and Royal Oaks should be the "Poster Child" for B&B's! Total Southern Hospitality!

We needed a place to stay close to the Wind Creek Casino as we had tickets to see the Gary Allen concert. My wife found MR Foster's place at the Royal Oaks Bed and Breakfast, and I am glad she did. Country atmosphere, polite, friendly and discrete place real close to the Casino. A great big thank you for letting us stay at your little piece of happiness.

My husband and I stopped at the Royal Oaks B & B before going on our trip to North Carolina. You can get a room in the main house but they have rooms out back. The room was lovely and secluded enough for us to have privacy on our honeymoon. The shower area was awesome and I loved the shampoo. The owner makes a huge breakfast for you every morning..hope you like southern cooking. They have peacocks and geese walking around. We had a neighbor in the next room but we never saw her; only her dog, the door open, and heard the TV. She never came out and we concluded she was a ghost (joking). A great stay and the super nice owner gives you homemade jelly on the way out.
