My wife and I recently stayed at The Roost. Very charming Bed and Breakfast! We had the Sage suite. Loved it! We also were able to peek at the other rooms, too. They are impeccable! We were in Appleton for our 20th wedding anniversary and attended a show at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (Moulin Rouge). The Roost was close to dinner and the PAC. The breakfast is worth it. Megan, the assistant Inn Keeper, was available for anything we needed. She is super friendly and wants you to really enjoy your stay at the Roost. The Roost has always given us the best stay! DeAnn goes above and beyond with her cooking and hospitality! I have food allergies and she accommodates them! It’s amazing to be able to go away and not stress! Love coming to The Roost! ||This is our 4th trip and we have loved every one! The Bella Suite is amazing! You won’t be disappointed staying there for a romantic getaway!

This place is wonderful! The breakfast was amazing, it was delicious and more than what we could eat. Anyone that doesn't stay for the breakfast is missing out. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Any extra amenities are available there. They had movies, books, wine, handmade soap and more. Most times you can't find that at hotels. My husband and I were looking for some place to stay the night and were originally looking at The Copperleaf hotel (which is very nice too). They were booked and most of the other hotels are near highway 41 by the Fox River Mall. Because we live out in the country, I wanted somewhere that had less noise from traffic so I could sleep better. I did a search for places to stay and saw this bed and breakfast. It was close to down town and the Darboy area. The bed was comfortable and our room felt like home, how it is decorated is warm and inviting. During the summer it has a beautiful yard and gazebo to take advantage of. This is something you don't get at a hotel. Both of us enjoyed our stay and talked about going back soon. De Ann is a great host and her pet dog is so friendly. Megan greeted us when we arrived and was wonderful as welll. I was sad to leave.

We traveled with another couple to stay a few days for the Osh Kosh air show. This was the perfect place to relax and come “home” to at the end of the day. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable, the breakfasts were incredible and the hostess was delightful. De Ann’s special touches make this bed and breakfast top notch. I would absolutely stay again and I hope I have the opportunity to do so!

My husband and I stayed here after a long day of multiple-family Thanksgiving hopping. We were blown away! The B&B was located somewhat in town, but it was tucked away in this cute, wooded neighborhood that was pin-drop silent. The owner was incredibly friendly and offered us a drink when we arrived! Our room was the Bella suite, which I highly recommend. It had a gorgeous stone fireplace, surround sound calming music, a killer jacuzzi tub, AND the most comfortable bed ever. But wait! There’s more. Free popcorn, candy snacks, Keurig coffee makers (in room and lobby), candles, and bubble bath! We haven’t felt that pampered in a long time. It doesn’t even stop there! We then had breakfast, which was delivered right to our room. The food was aaaaamazing. She made this baked French toast dish that had us both drooling! She even included meatless patties for me since I’m a vegetarian. We wanted to devour everything on the tray, but we were so full! We’ve decided to make this place a yearly tradition for us. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. If you need a retreat, this is IT!

What a sweet and beautiful bed and breakfast. We were greeted by Megan at the door with an offer of wine (but husband opted for a beer.). After finishing up some paperwork, we went to our room and proceeded to get comfortable. It truly was a warm, comfortable suite. The welcoming fireplace, the beautiful bed, the reading area with recliners and a massive bathroom- all beautiful. There were lots of nice touches throughout-bubble bath for the massive jetted tub, bottles of water, a fridge, Kuerig with coffee pods and even a hot chocolate pod and some candy. ||We stayed in the Bella suite. We chose for breakfast delivery - because lounging was in order for holiday - and it was delivered at designated time and piping hot. It was yummy with a nice balance of assorted warm item and yogurt, juice and coffee. ||If you’re looking for a comfortable get away any time of year, this a great option.

The Roost Bed & Breakfast was beautiful and very relaxing. DeAnn is wonderful and accommodating. Her breakfasts are Heavenly! The bed was comfy and the rooms are very clean, especially the jacuzzi tub! Lots of fun to explore Appleton. Can't wait to stay again!

The owner has over-promised and under-delivered. She was not there for my check in so I was waiting to even get in for a little while, there were no ride petals or chocolate covered strawberries as I was promised due to having zero heat on my previous visit. It was 57° in my room w the fireplace on. The breakfast my first day was wonderful. The second day, when I had reminded her that I'd still like the strawberries, it seemed she used those as a replacement for a, normally, wonderful breakfast. I was very disappointed. The cold water tap on the tub had zero water come out. You drew your bath, then had to let in sit for 4 hours till you could get in. For 2 nights at well over $500, I really felt I was more of an annoyance than a guest.
