Positive: Location is easy near the freeway and shopping center. The bed was fairly comfortable and looked clean enough, the front desk person was nice. Negative: Our room towel bar fell off, the toilet seat was very loose, the tub had slow drain during the shower so water was backed up, my roommate said she killed 5 ants in bathroom, we could smell pot from the hallway, surprise additional $4 fee upon check-in Negative: ""

Rooms are large but extremely outdated. This hotel hasn't had a remodel in a VERY long time. Not the best area and the customer service is awful.

I rarely write reviews but I feel I have to warn fellow travelers about this place. This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at. I can't believe it actually has some good reviews.
First, they charge an extra fee when you check in. The hotel is old and not well maintained. All the bed sheets were stained. I had to ask twice to get a blanket. Wifi is spotty. The worst part is I didn't have any hot water in my room for 4 days out of 5 (during a winter storm where it was 20 degrees). I asked the staff about this 3 times and they didn't seem to care at all. It also took 20 minutes to check out and they weren't able to print a receipt because their system was down. Very poor management. Stay away!

This is a diamond in the rough. Love the entire staff here at Jantzen Beach Roadway Inn. Front desk to the housekeeping team to security. All working together to make our stays here the best. It's wonderfully cared for, clean rooms, just amazing. If you want a good value and a team behind you, for all your needs, this team rocks. Love the Roadway Inn. Love the staff all of f the crew even the Maintenance man, he is also great and if you pay attention to his sporty car, he paints it a different color couple times s year, kinda neat to watch. Just nice place to just hang out a weekend in.

This hotel was the filthiest place I've ever been. There was a pervasive foul odor throughout the room. The bed was unclean, and there were even bloodstains present. The pillows were musty and brown. After I complained, they moved me to another room, but unfortunately, it was also in a deplorable state of cleanliness. I don't know how the state hasn't shut down this hotel, as it's a risk to its guests' health.

The front desk lady Monique she’s such an amazing person she really goes above and beyond for the guest I stayed here with my disabled dad and we had to move rooms she helped moved everything from one room to the other anytime I needed something she went above and beyond to help she made our stay so comfortable. Her spirit and happy energy is what’s needed at that front desk and I’ll definitely be returning in the future!! The rooms were also not as bad as I expected they would be! Do not let the reviews determine your stay!

Reviews are confusing. Just in case, I brought cleaning and sanitation supplies. Never used them. Had no issue with transients at all. One neighbor was smoking weed, but no big deal. Hotel almost great. Bathroom was amazing, 5 stars, spotless. Bedroom was 5 stars. Living room: One chair was stained, couch had been used. 2 giant Tvs, one got many channels, one got 1 channel. Carpet was clean, no stains, closet good. My recommendations to bring it to level 5: a clock in the room, clean the chair, add some lighting in living room table area, facial tissue, fix that tv, map of facility or booklet showing area stuff, hotel details, that sort of thing. We were there for a serious thing so not able to "enjoy" like we normally might, but it met most of our needs. Staff friendly, unobtrusive.
