This is very much an Alaskan experience, very rustic but still has the basic conveniences. We stayed in the Lodge one night and were able to move to a cabin the second night. In the Lodge you have a shared bathroom for each floor, if you don't understand that from the beginning you will be disappointed. This should not reflect poorly on the Lodge or owners as it is your responsibility to know what you are (or are not) getting. The other guests in the Lodge can certainly ruin your stay again not the owner's fault. |The Lodge is a beautiful 3 story log building. The cabins are all a little different in layout and size. Everything is nestled in the natural landscape. Valdez is in a rain forest so everything is big, full, and lush. I love how it is not manicured to look like suburbia. The fireweed was well over 6' tall.|Our cabin for night two was everything you needed. The view was amazing and it was private. What more can you ask for?|Tabatha was wonderful and worked with us at every step. |I would completely recommend Robe Lake Lodge & Cabins! This is a place we will stay again.

My family stayed in one of the cabins for a summer trip, and we loved it. The location was peaceful, and the kids enjoyed the nearby lake and activities. The staff were friendly too.

I stayed at Robe Lake Lodge for a fishing trip, and it was perfect. The views were amazing, and the team made everything easy. They helped us get the best local spots.

My husband & I stayed for 3 nights in Room 2 in the lodge. It was nothing like what we expected or what was shown on the website. The room was very small only holding a bed & very small nightstand . No place to put your luggage let alone walk around. There was 1 common bathroom for 4 rooms on this floor. We were VERY displeased with this as it says nowhere on the website that there is a common bathroom. The outside is not well kept and is very overgrown. No employee is present on-site. We would not recommend Robe Lake Lodge. We would never dream of booking here again!

The wolf cabin was adorable. The bed was super soft and very cozy. The boot warmer was a total added bonus. Communication with host was spot on. The outdoor hot tub was a pleasure for sore muscles. We didn't take advantage of the public use lake activities but we will next trip!

We stayed in the Eagle's Nest cabin. The photos of this cabin interior are extremely deceiving. The railings to the upper level are dangerous. They consists of a couple skis with sheetrock screws. An inspector would close them down. Overall they need to get a carpenter in there for a week to make this place worth the money they charge...maybe. if you don't have a streaming account you have no tv. The lake is a long way from the cabin. No laundry accommodations even though there's a washer and dryer in the cabin. The gas grill is rusted out and dirty. The back deck is treacherous. This place is not worth the premium price that they charge. We won't be back. This is the first bad review I've made of any place I've stayed in 45 years and I wish I wouldn't have had to do this one.

We stayed in the moose cabin for 3 nights. The cabin is rustic but fine except that it is dirty and they only provided clean towels and garbage pick up on one of the nights. The biggest problem for us was the fact that we called Tabitha (the contact provided for help) three times and texted another person once with questions about the internet and other issues. No one ever responded to us. We had zero contact from anyone.
When we arrived there was a letter that lists internet information. We could not log into the WiFi listed. Eventually one of the cleaners came by and she told us the paper had the wrong information and to use a different WiFi and password. If Tabitha had returned our call or text she could have resolved this issue immediately. Very poor service and care for guests.
The location is beautiful!
