Awesome little local place! The food was made from scratch and the meat had no GMO, chemicals, or hormones and was delicious! The ski theme was really neat and the staff very friendly.
The portions for the price were really good as well.
Always pays to eat local and skip the chain restaurants.?

My nephew came this afternoon and picked up some BBQ & 2 pint sides, macaroni and beans. The BBQ was pretty good but the 2 sides were disgusting. The cups were a little over half full, the macaroni had zero taste and I'm not exactly sure what the beans were supposed to be, but they also tasted horrible. definitely not ordinary baked beans. He ordered 3 pounds of meat and got 4 tiny cups of BBQ sauce. For $85. Definitely not worth the price.

What a treat!!! We were on our way to Desoto State park and decided to stop in for lunch. The customer service was amazing! The owner took the time to answer our questions and review the menu. The restaurant was clean and super cute. The best part… the food… let me tell you that brisket was DELICIOUS!!! You will not regret your decision to stop in for their BBQ. I had the brisket salad and my husband had the brisket sandwich with the Mac n cheese. Sooo good!

We got the nacho with half brisket and half chicken. The flavor was great! I could have done with a few less baked beans. I would come back. Loved the fact that it is dog friendly on the patio.

Visiting from out if town. Just wanted to take something back to where we were staying. We knew burgers and fries wouldn't make it back so we opted to try this place. Upon entering we were politely greeted by a gentleman who patiently explained the menu and answered our questions. We ordered ribs, brisket, pork, and macaroni and cheese. Everything was very good. This is honest to goodness real smoked barbecue. Not to mention everything was nice and hot after the twenty ride. I highly recommend it.

Roadside ‘Que in Fort Payne is absolutely incredible. We recently hosted a dinner at this quaint little place, which is brimming with personality and offers fantastic beverages. I had the brisket, and it was divine—melt-in-your-mouth, sinful brisket.

Their unique sides are a delightful departure from the typical potato salad and baked beans, offering something truly different and amazing. The staff were exceptionally accommodating to our party, ensuring that everyone was having a great time and that their food was perfect.

Roadside ‘Que is an excellent choice for casual dining or hosting an event. On the night we were there, they even had a yoga class happening on the back porch, adding to the unique and welcoming atmosphere.

If you don't know about this hidden gem and don't Google it, you might miss out. I highly recommend Roadside ‘Que for an amazing dining experience.
