The course is in decent shape. There's been a drought all year, so i considered it pretty good. Super fast, of course. The pace of play for a Sunday morning 8:15 tee time was excellent. We played 18 in exactly 4 hours without pushing anyone or being pushed. The layout is easy to follow. The course is short, with a lot of par 4s close to reachable off the tee. $40 for 18 with a cart on the weekend is a good price. The staff... they have been scrutinized on these reviews. I thought they were very nice. The starter was joking around with everyone because no one from any of the couple of groups we saw ahead of us could find the fairway. We failed as well. The guy in the proshop was really nice. There was also a lady setup outside the shop selling hotdogs, fruit, chips, and other snacks. She was really nice and my buddy loved his hotdog! All in all, it was an excellent experience, and I will for sure play here again.

Friendly staff. Great views of the river. Pretty course, not a lot of houses or hazards out of bounds.

Grounds are always well kept, and they do a good job of starting groups out with a good spacing. Fun course to play.

This place was once a nice course. Now it’s just a cash grab. Touting that they are a “semi private country club”, and higher green fees than their local competitors. The whole course looks unkept. Crab grass growing in the greens. Bunkers look like a litter box. Fairways and rough all the same length. Not to mention it’s a hackers paradise. They should change the name to hit, duck, and run country club. I’d quit golf if this was the only course I had access to. Take your money to Esquire, sugarwood, or Creekside.

Riviera is a solid course, good for beginners and overall in good shape, grounds crew was very nice. However, I’m not sure what the man’s name in the pro shop was but I have never been so disrespected at a public establishment in my life. We went inside to pay and get carts for our tee time and as we were walking out the man at the counter mumbled something and so I kindly asked him to repeat himself to which he mumbled again, and the third time I asked he screamed at the top of his lungs in the shop for no reason. As we went out and got our carts, a group of 8+ was on the tee box with balls already teed up. We decided to wait for them to go ahead and go, and as we are sitting there the man behind the pro shop comes out and screams at us again telling us to go in front of them. Overall, the man in the pro shop was extremely disrespectful and if you are not friends or family of this golf course do not expect to be treated with respect

Truthfully I ignored Riviera Country Club golf course for a few years, but I made a tee time a few years ago and gave it a try. Well this is a very nice course and although league days are a bit crowded, overall I really like to play this course. I drive just at one hour to get there from Rio Grande, Ohio and I feel that it is a fine course. Although it is a bit more level than some you will indeed find several challenging holes on this course. It has gotten to be my 'go to ' course for me and my golfing partner.

Greens and fairways are all in good shape and I feel that the staff there work very hard to keep it up and in good shape. Recommended.

Fairways, rough, greens, bunkers, tee boxes, and Cart paths are terrible. Wayyyyyy to over priced. It’s highway robbery to pay $27 to cart 9 for that bad of a course. At least they have electric carts (thats 50/50 chance of the steering wheel not working) and good ball cleaners. Will probably never come back here. It’s a shame because it could be a really nice joint.
