The room is simple, but large and clean. The beds are comfortable. My only issue at all is that you can hear easily through the walls.

The staff were very friendly at check in and out. The breakfast had more choices than I expected for a free breakfast! It was good too!

I have stayed here several times in the past and always had a great experience. New years eve my husband and I rented a room with a whirlpool tub for the night. The room was nice and spacious but unfortunately our room had no hot water. We told the front desk about it and they said sorry. My husband was upset about the response and I went in to check out. I was informed there was a blown fuse and they fixed it and would discount our stay. The sad thing about it all was the tub was the whole reason we rented the room and couldn't even enjoy it due to no water and my stay wasn't even discounted like they said. We've tried contacting the hotel several times and have just got a run around. Needless to say I won't choose to stay there again unless they make this right. If they fix this less then than satisfactory experience I will update this review.

The gentleman behind the counter when we checked in was amazing. I put in a request when I booked that if possible to be in a quiet room. He made sure to offer us a more suitable room for our needs, when he saw we would be next to an occupied room that allowed pets. I really appreciated that he made the effort to accommodate us. Our stay was very nice.

It's fine. Could be better with the towels. But the rooms were clean and decent. Front desk were nice people. Breakfast was actually all right. Not a ton of choices but decent.

Unfortunately we checked into a room and when the lights went out the bed bugs came out. So horrified, we told the night duty desk person we were leaving due to bed bugs only to check into another hotel at an extremely more expensive rate. In all fairness I did talk to the manager the next day who assured me they were calling pest control to check ‘the room’ for bed bugs. I suppose this happens more often than we know. To the hotels out there - please be extra diligent when changing bedding to thoroughly check for bed bugs. After killing 3 blood filled bugs, I couldn’t run out of there fast enough. I’ll also be contacting the public health authority in town.

When we arrived at the lobby, it smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The outside was rundown looking. I was concerned if our room was going to smell like the lobby, which I commented to the front desk check in person. The room was better, but as the night progressed, I could smell the stale odor in the bedding (pillow/blankets). The tub shower enclosure was not clean looking and the air conditioner ran all night on high trying to keep the room somewhat comfortable. It was very noisy. Neither my wife nor I slept well on this first night of our two night reservation. We had a non-refundable reservation, and for the first time in 30+ years, we decided to drive five hours back home instead of staying the second night due to the motel being so unpleasant and uncomfortable. We called at 6:45pm on the second night of our reservation and asked if they had vacancy. They said no. We then asked if the room that was booked for us was currently being occupied and was told yes. Rivertree should not have rented our room, when we had paid for it. Rivertree made the decision to not refund our money, even though they were not harmed financially by us leaving early. Hence the reason for this review.

Best place to stay! Rooms are all very spacious with great designs, some even with full kitchens. The location is perfect walking distance to everything you might need. Breakfast has everything needed to get your day going including great coffee!
Parking was perfect and even has an area for semi-trucks.
Saving the best for last, the staff...they are hands down the best I've ever encountered, after staying for 3+ weeks (work related) they feel like family, Kim is super sweet, she always has a smile and makes you feel welcomed every time you walk through the door.
Lynn is very friendly and also super welcoming with great stories.
Will is like the gatekeeper of the place making sure you feel safe.
All the staff go out of their way to smile, and help with anything you may need.
Great experience over all! Definitely will be back for another visit.

Good pricing , beds were older and saggy. I will update my review. It was a good value for the price , beds could use updating.
