Room was very shabby but clean no door nob on the Bathroom door ! Nowhere to hang clothes ,no iron no security locks on inside ! People were nice ,no coffee, very outdated, kinda smells, won't be back

Rooms are clean and decent size, the owners are nice and willingness to work with people. Location is kinda of crappy due to being right next to the hwy and train tracks so its a bit noisey. Update on review, after staying there for 5 plus months (lost my house due to unforseen issues that arised) they raised the weekly rate on me 4 times it started at 450 then to 500 then 590 and the fourth time they tried to raise it to 690. I had the only room that didn't have a working microwave or air conditioner all the other rooms had full size fridge and stove/oven my room had neither. And after being there for so long I got to know the other renters there and their rent was never raised on them and all their stuff worked so I ended up leaving because not only did they want to raise my rent they wanted to try and collect a 1000 dollar deposit after 5 plus months of already being there with no deposit. No one else there was required to pay this 1000 dollar deposit. I wouldn't recommend this slum lord property to anyone.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember. A friend of mine is staying there. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The outside was very well manicured and looked very nice. Ample parking and just blocks from the freeway. The charm and nostalgia are evident as is the owners pride in the maintenance and upkeep of the property.

I’m not sure how much the people that left good reviews got compensated, but they should be ashamed of themselves! This motel is horrific! The parking lot was full of tore up vehicles. Random people, hanging out. The room (6) smelled horrible. Like a death mixed with bad cologne. It was absolutely filthy! We had no choice, but to stay. Everything was booked due to the Microsoft fiasco. We rested (😳) in our clothes on top of the bedding. We had to leave our curtains open and dozed in shifts to make sure our Jeep didn’t get stolen or broken into. The room next to ours (7) had people showing up all night, knocking on the door, grabbing their dope and leaving. About every 20/30 minutes this went on, until we left at daybreak. We told the owner of the situation and he acted as he didn’t know anything about it (ya, right). He did give us our money back for the 2nd night we didn’t use - but at that point we were willing to take a loss just to get the h*ll out of there.

This place is very peaceful except if work has to be done on a room, but still respectful, during respectful hours. I am a single female coming from west Oakland California, my stay is for four days and not one time have I picked up on anyone being creepy, nobody came in my room etc. I'm highly intuitive and can pick up on various things rather quickly. I really enjoyed this place it's much better than motel 6 that's for sure and much cheaper than any other motel or hotel $88 a night 7/22 . They have a mini fridge with a separate freezer enough room to put a few groceries in which is nice and there is a microwave with a nice size place for hanging your clothes. The bathroom is cute with this personal sized tub that looks like a mini jacuzzi. There is a nice size dresser to place your items clothes. The things I didn't care for is there is no shade to park in and because people tend to smoke in the rooms regardless of what the rules state the room was slightly musty, but overall I will continue to keep coming back every time I drive up here from the bay area!!!! I forgot to mention they have really nice bath towels way better than a motel 6... They cover your whole body!!! UPDATE:
I had to remove one star for the fact that upon arrival and paying for my room I asked for a receipt and was told I'll get one when I checked out and I ended up staying longer than expected so im paying for more days then upon check out I asked for a receipt and still they couldn't produce a receipt so I really don't like that part. It's important when you run a business, to always keep it professional, even if it's a had written receipt. People need records for various reasons and my reason is for tax write offs so now I am unable to verify that I stayed in the hotel altogether. Not kosher... Please fix THIS...

It's clean very well maintained everything workes the staffs polite the motels hidden off the road no through traffic not too much riffraf around I recommend you don't stay there so I will have more availability lol

This place is awesome, its so unique & charming. Sweet vintage soda machine in the lobby. Great price, too. It's near the train track & the highway but the doors honestly do a great job at canceling the noise. We got a regular room, it came with a fridge, microwave, heat & a bigger bathroom than most apartments I've lived it. Definitely my top choice for any motel in this area

This place may have not all the up to date comforters and rugs in the rooms, but this place was so exceptionally clean and quiet and for $88 you can't beat that. The only thing I didn't like was the fact I wasn't given a receipt for my four day stay there. I was told I would get it upon check out, but never received one even upon specifically asking for one . Even a hand written receipt is better than not having anything at all. Some people need records for things like this for many reasons. It's important to be professional when you have a legitimate business, but other than that it was a pleasure being here and I will continue coming here when I'm visiting the state of Washington... Not D.C, Washington state.
