My wife and I currently had the pleasure of staying at this majestic B & B with our two fur babies. The rooms are adorable with all the amenities you could need. The gardens are spectacular and transport you to gardens we've seen in Europe. The food was absolutely amazing and you could not ask for more in a host. Highly recommend this for a getaway of peace and beauty at its finest.

The online photos hardly do this place justice. Ridgely is a beautiful estate in a quiet part of a picturesque mountain town. The view from the front porch, looking out over formal gardens to the hills beyond, was a highlight of my one-night stay. The biggest highlight, though, were the hosts. Sean and Lisa were terrific hosts, good conversationalists, and great teammates for trivia night at the tavern. I felt like family.

This is an amazing place!! First of all, the view of the Allegheny Mountains is beautiful!! The house is very clean and well maintained!! The owners, Sean & Lisa are awesome- very friendly and accommodating!! They fix the best breakfasts ever- so delicious!! The location is perfect- nestled close to Covington and Roanoke, Va and West Virginia state line. We stayed because of a wedding located at the Masonic Theater there in Clifton Forge. As I was looking at their website, I liked the fact that they put plenty of activities to do there in Clifton Forge as well as surrounding areas!! My husband and I are planning a return visit to take advantage of the activities!! Highly recommend this wonderful bed & breakfast!! We are looking forward to our next visit!! Thank you so much for all that you do!!

Absolute pleasure meeting the family- including Scooby & Honey - the sweetest pups you could ever hope to share the space with. Unmatched hospitality, everything you could think of was taken care of, and the property and house itself were immaculate. 10/10 recommend, in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Ridgely for 3 nights. The home is beautifully renovated and feels grand! Sean and Lisa were exceptionally good hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and they prepared them on our schedule. It was the perfect place for us.

We stayed three days at the Ridgely. Sean and Lisa were great hosts. Our breakfasts every day were Food Network worthy, both beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed breakfast in the sun room each morning overlooking the gardens before going about our train history investigation at the C & O archives and the surrounding area. This is a must stay if you are in this area! We are already planning a return trip.

We rented the entire house and cottage the weekend of October 27th since our son was getting married in Clifton Forge. Lisa and Sean are amazing hosts! We enjoyed the company of "Scooby" and "Honey" (their friendly dogs). The interior of the house and the cottage; as well as the grounds, are well maintained and beautiful. The breakfasts and cookies they made were delicious! Lisa & Sean went above and beyond to alleviate any stress a wedding weekend could cause and made us feel so welcomed. We highly recommend Ridgely to anyone wanting to stay in the area.💗

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while we were in town for a wedding. We stayed in the cottage where we could have our dog with us, and it was so nice and peaceful. The gardens and house are beautiful and the hosts Sean and Lisa were so kind and attentive. Not to mention, they make a killer breakfast. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
