This is an older place, and while very clean inside, it shows its age. It has some nice features: an ample porch with a hot tub, BBQ and a glass table with two chairs, a wide screen TV with ROKU (you may need your own passwords), and while we didn't use it, it has a wood stove. The beds in the bedroom were comfortable, and there's a beautiful dining room table and chairs in the dining room and a window seat in the kitchen. There is on-site parking for at least one car (possibly two). My partner was able to walk to the coffee shop a few blocks away pretty easily. They have ample dishes, tableware, cookware, and serving dishes. The stove is older electric, but it worked. There is a small older microwave that met our needs and a toaster over. Also, there is an oven we did not use. The refrigerator is large enough and in good condition. Laundry is on-site and worked well.

On the other hand, the foundation is settled in numerous places, and the floors are completely uneven, especially in the kitchen, laundry room, and at least one bedroom. The bathroom sink faucet leaked, although it was possible to get it to stop for a few minutes with much trying. We couldn't get the heater to work, and no one responded to our call for instructions. The outside of the house itself needs a good power washing, and the roof and gutters need weed removal. My biggest complaint is the seating in the living room. There is a sofa with a pull out bed that, for some reason, the bed part stuck out a few inches where your legs go, so the sofa was very uncomfortable. We could not push it any farther in, and we never used the bed itself, so I can not comment, but suspect it's not great. The other chair in the living room is not comfortable either and difficult to get out of.

This last part isn't a complaint, but something you should be aware of. It has a very high, then small step with no handrail to get to the front porch. There is another wood step to get into the house. Each bedroom is a step up (ceilings are low in the bedrooms). From the living room, there is a step up to get into the kitchen. The only bathroom is through the kitchen. I use a cane, so this was very challenging. LIke I said, it's not a fault of the house, but anyone with physical limitations needs to be aware of it.

I was not the one who made a reservation, so I could not speak to the value, nor what the listing stated. It worked for the 2 nights we spent there. We had a lovely time at the beach and in Astoria and Seaside. We really enjoyed spending the afternoon in the hot tub.
