Dinner here was DELICIOUS. The service was amazing! Probably one of the best servers any one in my party had ever had. I had the wet burrito it was so good. So much food, such a good value. Also very fresh and authentic! Loved this place!

My go to place when I'm in town. I make a point of eating here several times when I'm in town. I'm obsessed with the crunch chicken tacos. So miss great Mexican food in Idaho. Wished they'd come open up a restaurant in Boise! As a long time patron of this restaurant, I grew up in the area,I'm glad it's still around and Ricardo still is always helping out.

Make sure you try the house green sauce. Holy cow! I dream about this place!

Everybody was super nice. The happy hour margaritaswere great. Totally surprised by the tacos. They had so much meat. We had the carnitas and shredded beef. Very very good. Can't beat this winning combination. Great food, drinks, service and ambiance. We are definitely coming back.

My Carnita tacos were big, flavorful, and mouthwatering. There was live music when we ate with acoustic guitars and singing. I would definitely come back here again.

Ricardo’s Place is a must-visit every time we’re in San Juan Capistrano. This family-run, local spot never disappoints with its generous portions, flavors, and service that hit the mark.

One of my favorites is the Surfer Burrito with chicken—hold the rice. Personally, I’m not a fan of rice in a burrito; it’s just a filler with no flavor. But rice or no rice, this burrito checks all the boxes: size, flavor, and satisfaction.

The California Burrito with carne asada is equally delicious and worth trying. And don’t leave without trying the horchata—it's a must! If you like a bit of ETOH, a shot of rum is a good addition ordered al-a-carte.

The staff here is friendly, and the service is both attentive and quick. I've been coming to this location since it was Harry’s, a great diner in its time, but Ricardo’s has taken it to the next level.

As you can see from the photos, Moses (as always) had a flair for mischief during one visit. In a moment of hunger-fueled inspiration, he wrapped himself up in a burrito, channeling his inner ā€˜Tortilla Prophet.’ We caught him just before he declared the ā€˜Ten Commandments of Salsa’—thankfully, he avoided becoming the main course.

Moses highly recommends delicious adventures at Ricardo’s.

First visit, I had the Surfer Burrito with carnitas. The server said the carnitas was good, and she was right.
Prices were high, but quality of food was good.
Good restaurant vibe, the service was minimal (could have been a little better).
Will be back, recommended.

My spouse and I drive all the way to San Juan Capistrano from Long Beach every month to eat at Ricardo’s Place. They have fantastic food and great service. The staff are so friendly from Ricardo to his sister Estella to the waiters like Salvador and on. I always look forward to go there and always encourage our friends to join us. Bravo! As a matter of fact, I’m going there for lunch today. BTW, the Cadillac Margaritas are great too!

LOVED this beautiful, unassuming restaurant. Our host was exceptionally sweet to my family. The chips were freshly made, the guacamole was delicious, and the shrimp cocktail was SO FRESH!Our waitress took the time to describe the dishes to us and allowed us to have some of the most authentic and flavorful food in our week long California vacation! The portions were huge! The fish tacos were exceptional. I don’t know what the sauce that accompanied the tacos was, but I ordered double because it was legit! If they bottled it, I’d buy it! If we ever go back to Disneyland, we will definitely go back!
