The first time I stayed here, my room was clean and I had a pleasant stay even though it is an older property. The second stay the room smelled like every dog in the neighborhood peed on the carpet. The odor was foul. Hard to believe housekeeping cleaned this room without at least leaving a window open to dissipate the smell or provide some type of treatment to the carpet. Fortunately I see they are starting renovations so hopefully they get rid of all carpets since they allow large dogs.

Nice location, but that’s where the benefits end. Mid tier premium price comes with a very aged out and at time unclean property. Rooms are centrally controlled temp, you have to wait until someone is “available” to fix an issue. Breakfast? Good luck, everything stocked out 2 hours before the ‘official’ end of breakfast. Ask for things to be refilled…staff looks at you like you committed a sin. For this price there are better alternatives. What happened to Marriott brand standards? They don’t exist at this location.

I have been a Marriott Rewards member for well over 10 years, and I have to say that this hotel is, if not the most run-down Marriott property I have visited, certainly within the top three.

As shown in my photographs, the sofa was completely unusable. It’s clear that ownership and management have chosen not to replace this significantly damaged piece of furniture. Due to the exposed wood and cushioning, we were unable to sit comfortably on it.

Secondly, the smoke detector in the bedroom was left dangling above the bed. Although I believed it to be safe, my wife was concerned that there might be a hidden camera inside. I find it hard to believe that the cleaning staff missed this issue when preparing the room after the previous guest.

Third, early on in our stay, the toilet continued to run. This forced me to remove the tank lid and adjust the chain so the flapper would seal and stop the water from running.

Finally, the grout on the bathroom floor tiles appeared as if it had never been cleaned or resealed for an extended period. The grout was extremely dirty, requiring us to walk on towels after showering to avoid stepping on it.

Marriott, I hope you read my review, along with the numerous previous reviews for this property. This location is neither maintained safely nor kept clean, and I believe it does not meet the standards to be considered a Marriott property.

Perfectly located!!!

The service and location were excellent. I highly recommend this place due to the location and the staff, they were extremely hospitable. The hotel does need some updates but serves its purpose. The gym is small but has the needed equipments stocked with clean towels and water, for a nice short workout with an indoor pool near by. The rooms are relatively spacious with a sitting area, kitchen and entertainment area as well. The breakfast bar had a nice selection with many different food options. My favorite part of the two week stay was the opportunity to explore the Centennial Trail and Spokane River a few yards behind the hotel.

Positive: The Staff was wonderful they did their best to make us feel welcome at all times day or night. They helped us with any questions about the area we were staying in, including where to eat, what to see. The Location was excellent for what we wanted. Negative: The hotel is a bit dated and needs some upgrades, carpet in places, Laundry facility machines and cleanup. Over all Good for the price.

Awesome staff here. They are very accommodating when it comes to pets and people. They empathize with the situations that everyday people go through. Would absolutely recommend staying here for long term stays. Keep up the good work.

Excellent, courteous service. Very good breakfast. Now the constructive criticism:|This hotel is close to I-90 and I heard traffic at night even with ear plugs in and the fan going. I requested a room on back side, facing a trail and river. This was granted first night. I requested a back side room again on third night and one was not available. No fresh fruit of any kind on first night. There were fresh bananas on third night. Problem with sink and shower drains on night 3. Manager said the hotel was shceduled for a full renovation early next year.

Nice view and location right on the river. A bit dated but rooms good for a longer term stay, decent amount of amenities though I wish the gym was larger. Service was awful. I stayed for 5 nights and never received housekeeping services despite asking twice. The front desk claims that the housekeeping staff said I had my do not disturb sign on-I didn’t. I don’t think they bother doing their jobs at all because I only ever saw them sitting on their phones and vaping in the lobby or sitting and smoking outside. Front desk person frequently missing, sometimes with no sign or indication when they would be back, which was an issue due to my check out time being time-sensitive. Manager said she would credit me with a free nights stay in points due to my lack of housekeeping and 2.5 weeks later I never received anything-even the attempt to make it right got messed up. I would only stay again if they had a major overhaul of their staff and standards.
