Convenient location. The rooms appeared to be recently refreshed. The breakfast was not so tasty. The sausage seemed watery and was cold, like they just defrosted it and put it out to serve.

They are currently updating everything. Our mattress was soft and beat up but our room hadn’t been updated. The animations are nice and breakfast is good. The 12 o’clock check out time is very nice. Even though we were next to the freeway the noise wasn’t bothersome- they have trees between the hotel and freeway.

Positive: Location was the only good thing. Negative: 1st I had issues at check in.. Then the deposit was 200.00 and the hotel needs a TOTAL interior make over. The furniture was very old and dusty. The stay wasn’t bad, but even though I have rewards through Marriott I will find somewhere else next time, called multiple days in a row to figure out a double charge issue and they left me on hold for over an hour once and 15 minutes the second time before I just hung up. I had to reach out to the main Marriott customer service number to finally get the issue resolved.

What a disaster. The hotel is next to the freeway and super sketchy. And I got a $150 charge for a “pet cleaning fee” when I have no pets. I am following up with them and they are basically saying that children are pets. We left it spotless! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! The front staff was nice, but they can’t do anything to help you. The breakfast is decent.

This location is an older apartment complex converted to an extended stay hotel. The units are spread across several buildings with outdoor stairs. Make sure to ask for a ground floor unit if you cannot do stairs. The room had a slight smell— not and, but could tell it was older. The furnishings and fixtures were worn and dated, the bed was extra firm, the amenities very basic. The sofa bed had a very thin mattress— fine for one child, not suitable for an adult. The breakfast was very basic. The service was good— asked for extra pillows and were delivered right away. Our unit did not have an oven even though the website photos show an oven— so no frozen pizzas from the grocery store. The hotel is located in a residential area but right next to the freeway. The freeway noise was like white noise— but if you are sensitive to sounds of cars, this may not be the place for you. The location was very close to shops and restaurants in Pleasant Hill— and a Safeway grocery a couple minutes away.

We stayed here for a night last weekend when in town and had a wonderful visit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Anaiza checked us in and we were grateful for her assistance. The room was clean and everything worked well. We enjoyed the space and comfort of the Residence Inn - and frequently choose this chain on travel. Lots of choices for breakfast. We had waffles and oatmeal. They had several toppings for both, which was great. |There is a bit of road noise but we slept well.
