Absolutely phenomenal experience. I didn't do much research prior to booking and was pleasantly surprised to see not just a hotel room, but practically a whole studio apartment with a full kitchen and living room area. The room was clean, bed cozy, quiet grounds and friendly staff.

I remember staying at many residence inns but never in its original style like this! The original concept of it was that there were multiple little "residences" All in an outdoor corridor and split among two levels. They all came off a working chimney as well! Of course the chain has evolved through the years and now most residence inns are now integrated into some high-rise building or one giant single building that sometimes may or may not look like a house at all... But to see this is almost a time capsule, but despite its original style and potential age they seem to have taken care of the property here very well! The pool area looks really clean as well as the complimentary grill that you can use! Inside, the rooms are clean with full size appliances from ranges, to dishwashers to toasters and the fridge itself, that also comes with an inbuilt ice maker. There are pots and many different utensils to cut and cook with. However, there are no frying pans which was a strange omission here... Since the room was on the second level, the ceiling was very high up separating the upper bedroom from the lower bedroom and living room, which by the way has a pull out bed. There also is two restrooms both on each level of the room! The fireplace and chimney work well and there are tools for you to stoke the fire with. Each section of the room has its own TV for a total of three different TVs! I kind of like the color scheme around the room too with teals and more! Lastly, I like to give a really good shout out to the location of how quiet it is at night, though it does help that it's next to a bunch of residences itself. It's far away from a lot of highways and the main road that it's nearby doesn't seem to affect the noise levels outside. Check-In is pretty easy and the staff are friendly if you go up to them in the one little main building. Inside that building too are some little bits of games as well as the free breakfast that they have every morning! Overall, it's still really cool to see that this is still a proper residence inn that has kept up well with the times complete with service! I hope they can maintain the property like this for many years to come without losing the franchise or something.

It’s a shame in the fact the rooms are outdated. It is pretty much the same as 30 years ago.
Old style coffee makers where you have to use their coffee.
Beds are like plywood
Flat screens are old LG units and are very dark for 10 minutes then get a little brighter.
Breakfast is not on par with other places.

But, good pillows on beds, great HVAC units.
If you drive a truck or van, the parking lot is a nightmare. Very tight.

Better deals in the area. I find this pricey for what you get. I used it as it was close to my medical needs

I will Never be back to this property. It's simply astounding that Marriott allows their name to be put on this facility.

I cannot believe the disrepair and the sub-standard status that this facility is in. Rotting molding and trip, dirty floors, holes in old and warn furniture.

The only positive is the young lady that checked us in was very personable and friendly

Room looked nothing like the photos. Dingy and brown, flaking paint, run-down feel. Shower didn’t drain, basically told “tough” in a very kind tone. Shower supplies were also empty. Did I just get the room nobody maintains?

My family and I stayed in Room 313 from June 23 to June 25. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and stunning. The customer service provided by Gabriel at the front desk reception area was outstanding. I have stayed at over 100 hotels across the United States and Gabriel provided one of the highest and most professional levels of customer service I have ever seen out of all the hotels I have stayed at. Due to the outstanding level of hospitality and customer service provided by Gabriel at the front desk reception, my family and I will definitely be back at this stunning hotel for another fun-filled vacation. Thank you for making our vacation trip to San Jose truly memorable and truly remarkable!

It’s a Marriott brand so you know what to expect. However, the hotel is on a tiny lot with very limited parking. The upper floors are eye level to a freeway. ||While it’s easy walking distance to restaurants, the neighborhood doesn’t make up for the fact that this hotel was crammed into a very small space. If you want peace and quiet, stay elsewhere.

Outdated, unsafe, and cannot believe this place operates under the Marriott umbrella. Sidewalks are broken, no curb cutouts by room to roll suitcases-but you can’t roll suitcases over broken sidewalks anyway. The big cracks have been painted red to alert you before you twist an ankle. You have to carry your luggage up a full flight of stairs, the light is broken in the main bedroom, advertised as a 2 bedroom loft but 2nd bed is in the loft -not separated by walls. No mention when booking that rooms are on a second floor with no elevator. You have to pay to park on their own property. Run away-do not stay here.
