Just came back from 2 night stay in this B&B for our wedding anniversary. What a beautiful lovely place it was! We stayed in the East Room, a spacious room tastefully decorated. It has a large sitting area with wood burning fire place and big skylight opens to the majestic redwood tree tops. The room has a private entrance that leads to a small, cute, and cozy patio.||||The B&B hosts Sitah and Dale were very friendly, gracious, and totally accommodating. They went out of their ways to make us felt welcomed, and made our stay there very enjoyable and romantic. Breakfast was in a class all by itself. They were absolutely delicious and were elegantly presented with dishes looked like coming straight out from gourmet food magazines. We had our breakfasts on the private patio covered in the shade of a big persimmon tree, it was very serene, romantic, and totally relaxing. It was so relaxing that we spent about 2 hrs each day enjoying the breakfast. ||||The Garden Room has a private jacuzzi on a terrace surrounded by green foliage and flower. One could look up to see the million stars while enjoying the jacuzzi.||||There is free WiFi in the room, and the speed was reasonably fast.||||Thank you Sitah and Dale for the beautiful time and wonderful memory! Wish we could've stayed longer, and we'll definite go back again. I am just hoping all the great reviews on the B&B will not make it too difficult to make the reservation next time!

We just returned home from a 4 night stay at Redwood Croft, and we are wishing we could go back already. The hospitality at this bed and breakfast is superb. Every morning Sitah made us the most delicious breakfasts we have ever had. Both Sitah and Dale were so very nice and friendly. We traveled with our dog, and this was a dog's paradise. The property is all fenced in so your dog is free to roam anywhere on the property. The owner's have two dogs who are as friendly and welcoming as Sitah and Dale were. A couple of nights we were the only ones there, and Sitah offered us the bigger room with a kitchenette if we wanted it for the same price we were paying for our room. We didn't change rooms, since we were completely happy with our room. Every room on the property looked beautiful, you can't go wrong staying in any of them. We spent our days exploring the Felton, Santa Cruz area, but I wish we would have spent one day just relaxing in the Redwoods on this beautiful property. There are no TV's and we had no cell reception for calls, although we could text message, and they did offer free Wi-Fi that worked great. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast as a great get-away.

My wife and I have stayed at Redwood Croft twice, and it will continue to be our first choice for the Santa Cruz area. We were initially attracted to the property due to their dog friendly policy. The hosts, Sitah & Dale, have a couple friendly pooches of their own, and are always excited to meet new four legged friends.||||The property itself it outside of Santa Cruz a bit, somewhat secluded in the redwoods. Makes for a very relaxing stay. The rooms have varying levels of amenities. We prefer the West room as it comes with a small kitchen.||||The breakfasts are amazing. Often multiple courses, served on tableware much finer than I deserve. We've consistently found our fellow guests to be interesting meal companions, complete with suggestions for the best local services from Thai massage to bakeries. Sitah and Dale have a number of great area suggestions as well, of course. But, are completely unobtrusive. They're happy to be just as involved as you like, or disappear into the shadows if that's your preference. ||||I can't say enough kind things about this place. Easily one of my favorite places to stay.

My husband and i just stayed a couple of nights @ Redwood Croft. Very elegant cabin nicely nestled among beautiful redwoods. Sitah & Dale were very nice & welcoming, the East room was comfortable with very unique décor. The breakfast was very tasty. The only drawback that we encountered was that breakfast started @ 9:30-10:00.This was a bit late for us since we only had one full day to explore the area. We skipped breakfast the 2nd morning in order to get a head start earlier in the day. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

We just came back from our 2 nights stay at the Redwood Croft and it was the most AMAZING experience EVER!!! Sitah and Dale were wonderful, they were very warm and welcoming, even their dogs - Spinner and Bella welcomed us with kisses and waging tails. In fact, Bella would come into our little garden area as soon as she knows that we are awake, and would play with us and our dogs. Usually hotels or B&B have very strict policy of what dogs can or cannot do, but our dogs were allowed to do anything. They were able to roam around the property freely and without leashes, they were even allowed to sleep in the bed with us!! My dogs got so comfortable after the first day that they would just go in and out of the main house and the kitchen themselves, basically thinking that it is their home. I've never really been a nature type of a girl, but I absolutely fell in love with Redwood Croft that I definitely see myself going back every year. And have I mentioned their home-cooked breakfast? It was seriously the BEST breakfast we've ever had. Thank you so much Sitah, Dale, Spinner and Bella for such a wonderful time! You guys will definitely see us again soon 🙂

My children and I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. I can not say enough good things about this place. Amazing breakfast, lovely gardens with nooks and hideaways all over for exploring and relaxing. The decor was creative and charming plus they have really nice sheets, good towels and nice pillows. Again, the breakfast was really a luxury. We had delicious food both days, linen napkins, fresh flowers, home made scones with lemon curd, shaved butter served on china dishes, and silverware. I went with my 3 kids. I thought they would be bored but they played in the woods, used the trampoline, ping pong, painted, went in the hot tub. They wanted to stay what longer and have made me promise to return. Sitah and Dale are lovely people and gracious hosts. Our stay will be thought of fondly. and we will return.

Dale and Sitah were wonderful hosts; the breakfast was outstanding and rooms were well appointed (except ours was missing coffee creamer) and exquisitely decorated. Honestly, the only reason I gave them one star deduction is due to the price, but then we stayed in the most expensive room available. That being said, there is a huge variance in prices for the different rooms so do your research. Either way, it is an outstanding retreat set amidst redwood trees, which gives the added bonus of utter silence and serenity. If you want to get away from hectic urban life, this is the place!

What a delight it was to arrive in the heart of the Santa Cruz Mountains and find this gem of a B & B! We only allowed ourselves one night of tranquility in this beauty, but it was a memorable evening spent in our own personal jacuzzi under the stars and redwoods. Our hosts were an adorable couple who made us feel welcome ||(and recommended the perfect place for dinner) but then left us to your own devices until breakfast, which was a feast in every sense of the word.
