I never thought I’d be writing a review but this place needs to be demolished. I was running out of money because I’m staying in hotels until my home is completed so I gave this place a shot. Terrible experience. I had to go buy bleach, cleaning supplies, blankets, towels and face towels, everything was filthy. The floor was absolutely insane. I understand it’s a cheap motel but at least dignify your customers with a clean place to spend the night. Needless to say as soon as dawn ascended I gladly spent my money on Fairfield

We stayed out in Palmdale for a softball tournament. We stayed one night. Upon check in I was asked to pay a $60 CASH ONLY deposit. I understand deposits and it’s fine HOWEVER. I didn’t know it was cash ONLY! When I asked the gal she said if you book on a third party site it doesn’t state, but if you check our website it states on there. I only had $50 bucks cash on me. She said she would waive the $10. I would have been better prepared had I known cash only! When entering the room there were bugs EVERYWHERE! We had to make sure non of our stuff was on the floor! Then we saw them on the walls. So then I had to make sure non of our stuff was near a wall. They were in the bathroom and tub. When we woke up in the morning they were in the trash and the food bag we had the night before. When checking out. I asked for a manager and was told they weren’t avaliable but she can share a message. I expressed my concern and irritation with the room. She appologized and told me she will pass along the message. I was really hoping to speak to the manager as I paid $100 for the room and the quality was not worth $100 when you have bugs everywhere! I was hoping to discuss a partial refund.if I could zero stars I would. I would not recommend nor stay at this hotel again.

Positive: Nice staff members. Negative: This MOTEL tends to be dirty every time I come here. The bath tubs are always black. There is always strands of hair in towels. The maids are very lazy with their cleaning. An office chair had food still smeared all over the seat. Outlets are broken.

This one woman who works at the front desk brings the experience down to a zero. She is rude and has no people skills. Her hospitality skills are not up to standard and it's because of her that this hotel receives low ratings. In my opinion she does not need to be at the front desk. I know Red Roof does not want her as the
face or the voice of their company name.

Let’s start by saying this is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, if not the worst .(And thats coming from someone who’s been in some pretty bad hotels) linen stained, bathroom door won’t fully shut, walls look like they’ve never been cleaned, floor dirtier than a gas station floor, window thinner than paper , worst toilet paper I’ve ever used (could of wiped my butt better at a gas station) , water lukewarm and no pressure. Then woke up to banging at 2 am, walls paper thin (sounded like someone hammering). Then loud music upstairs at 3 am, at 4 am sounded like someone was knocking on are door , homeless people sleeping outside and hallways bustling with traffic since 10 pm… just all and all I have nothing good to say about this hotel . Gonna give an honest review on this hotel because people are dragging this place like they expect it to be a 5 star hotel and it simply isn’t. However it has come along way from what it used to be. You get what you pay for. Yes $89 in person is a bit steep and a $60 cash only deposit is wild, but you could go literally two streets up and pay double if not triple. Currently making this review while in room 147 and it’s not that bad. Definitely still need to make a lot of major improvements to bathroom, one ply toilet paper is mad disrespectful I will say. A few years ago you could barely sleep in the room with the roast infestation but this time around I’ve only seen two roaches. One in the bathroom sink and unfortunately one that ruined an entire pizza I had just purchased from Pizza Hut. I sad all this to say that i already had low expectations from previous visits to this location over the years and recent reviews, so past me would have given this location a solid 0 stars, now with the efforts they are making to improve I’ll give them a strong 2 stars. Definitely need to get rid of the roaches 100%. 2 stars or not no hotel motel should be up and running not to mention asking for a deposit when there are roaches running around. They say the deposit is for incidentals but who gonna pay me incidentals if y’all roaches get in my tech equipment or luggage and infest my home or vehicle? Just saying so take care of the bug problem before you go expecting guest to give cash deposits. The covers on the bed could be a bit thicker. Invest in warmer bedding. Bathtubs and showers should probably be replaced and cleaned more thoroughly. NO 1 PLY TOILET PAPER. Last but not least the WiFi connection needs to be better. Out of no where the WiFi connection just went out exactly at like 1am and it’s 4:11am right now and it’s still isn’t working. Idk if this was done on purpose or not but if not definitely get in touch with the internet provider and see about getting a router that helps prevent this issue. A lot of improvements still need to be made however a lot better than what it was. So far the staff has been okay. Normal interaction nothing special but also nothing negative.

Positive: I like the staff . They was nice Negative: The sheets had smudges on them. The tub was dirty. There were roaches in the room. Lots of noises. The towels smelt badly. The list goes on and on.

This place was memorable for all the wrong reasons! If you want to sleep poorly wondering if someone is going to try and break inn or if the roaches are gonna get extra frisky, then this is the adventure you are looking for!
The screw as a faucet handle was the hilarious topper to this Odyssey.
