This hotel is close to the Clark County Events Center which is nice if you need to be there.||Overall this hotel is average for its age and star rating. It provides a room with a bed to sleep and securely locking doors. ||One note: bring an extension cord of adapter with length, as there are a lack of well placed electrical outlets around the beds.

Quiet place, very clean rooms, very comfortable bed, best place to relax with the kids and enjoy ourselves. The coffee was great and Tom helped with breakfast with a smile and made us all feel so welcomed. This is the best motel in Salmoncreek...

I stayed here for two weeks for work. Daniel at the front desk is very helpful and nice. The breakfast is a bit rough though, it comes in a small brown bag. I had a different room each week and there were some minor differences. The king bed room on the first floor of the lobby had tile flooring which was nice, it smelled good. The other room I had upstairs in the same building had the usual smell of a dusty room. There wasn't any soap in the room when I checked in.
A big issue though are the types of people here. You'll probably see theft and crime. Someone in the parking lot was looking to buy a gun. The rooms also aren't very soundproof and if you're on the first floor you'll hear the usual loud footsteps above you.

My son and I stayed here on Friday November 29, 2024. The hallway had strong food smells upon arrival. The room had a peculiar smell not necessarily of cleaning supplies. The room was clean though. The pool was not in working order. There seamed to be quite a few homeless people around the parking lot. After leaving I noticed on my bill I was charged an extra $100. I called to inquire about it and was told it was a damage charge for towels. What?!? I’ve never been charged for damages to a room in my entire life. Even so $100 for any kind of towel damages seems excessive. I’ll be disputing the charge with my credit card company and will never stay at a Red Lion again.

The front desk guy was brand new, first night & he was AMAZING. Long story short, I had a few lil hiccups in the room & he made sure everything was fixed & working. Pretty funny guy too. 3/18/25. I hope his bosses see this- on point guest service

Ok. So I didn't EVEN get what I paid for. The tub had no plug, the shower handle was broken, the bathroom door didn't latch closed, there were 2 lg towels and 2 hand towels and policy was that they can't give out extra towels, so we had to share 2 towels between 6 people (2 adults, 4 small children). The lamp on the nightstand didn't work and just to complain a bit more (there have been very few hotels that HAVE this) but there was no outlet close enough to the head of the bed for my husband's cpap machine. The "breakfast" I'm torn on: while I, of course, would choose a full continental breakfast, their "to-go breakfast" was actually pretty good! They had brown bags with a breakfast sandwhich, yougurt and a muffin. But they also had oatmeal (add hot water) different juices, hot chocolate and a fruit basket. My complaint about breakfast is that the coffee cups have no sleeves and you have to now transport all that food, by hand, across a parking lot. 😑 With 4 kids, of course each kid wanted HC and juice, I tried carrying a few juices in one hand and one HC, by the top because - no sleeve and thankfully made it to my room before the lid popped off and spilt boiling water on my fingertips. I ran in, and was able to set it on the bathroom sink, with my hand going straight under some running cool water, but still. They need sleeves, cup carriers (like at McD's) or some sort of cardboard tray to transport things. But good selection! 😅 We, however, will NOT be staying here again. Oh, and, par for the course, the pool was closed. 😮‍💨
