I've been around horses and stables off and on my entire life. I have to say that a lot of stables are toxic and only after money. JoAnn is professional, passionate, kind, knowledgeable, and absolutely hilarious! She makes you feel comfortable around the herd and makes sure to take the time to make you feel comfortable and confident. She listens to what you want and pushes you to be the best. Her horses are well behaved but will absolutely let you know when you have messed up. I have been riding Jax, a beautiful morgan gelding. He is the perfect gentleman. He, just like JoAnn, is a wonderful teacher. She has quite a few horses here with amazing personality.
Not only does she teach you about horsemanship, but a bit of history as well. Did you know that Californian cows calf twice a year!? I sure didn't! If you are ever interested in learning true horsemanship, you could do no better than here at Rawking Ranch!
Thank you, JoAnn for being someone I can look up to. I hope that some day, I will be as great as great of a rider as you! Your passion is contagious!
