Because the room was not cleaned properly and the fridge was gross. I'm disabled & those steps were ruff. No handicap access for the sidewalk. The breaker was shut off on the Jacuzzi it was very clean either. Not enough towels, I was so tired I didn't want to go back downstairs to get them. Then I had to go anyway for ice. I walked by 2 ice machines that didn't work. The room smelled like smoke. Then while I was loading up I tripped and fell down the stairs and landed hard.. I didn't think I was hurt then but my whole body hurts now! The room was nice if it had been clean & fresh.. The were several items that were not even there, I didn't realize it until the maintenance guy came in.

Extremely pleased! While building is older, this has been clearly renovated. Best hotel I have every stayed at within the Choice Family. Aside from a step up continental breakfast, the staff was amazingly friendly no matter what time it was. Sandy was especially helpful showing me where to get a cup of coffee in the hotel at 5am; simply a delightful lady who clearly takes pride in her job and loves people! I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you Sandy!

It was ok. Not the cleanest but it worked for having a place to sleep. It felt like it was a rush clean job/remodel. It also seemed like the some of the other guests may not be the type of people you would want around your family. I am in corrections so I know some people tend to stay at hotels that will allow them. Didn't feel loke it was the safest place to be. When we drove around to our room there was a female individual lurking in the parking lot by a car sitting on a bicycle. I told my family do not open the doors. We waited until she left. Not trying to be judgmental but just trying to be safe.

Breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt. New mattresses made rooms very comfortable . .very quiet. Halls smelled wonderful with the diffuser. Desk staff very accommodating and was able to move us to a first floor room. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel has no elevator. The room assigned to me was in the back building on the second floor. The entire back building smelled like fermenting molding fruits or wine. The interior is extremely run down, the carpets and walls were dirty, dark, and dingy. Pillows lumpy. Bed sheets had cigarette burn holes. Area between the bed and the nightstand had cigarette ash clumps. I was mid road trip travel, just needed a bed to sleep in so I could hit the road again in the morning. Checked in super late, thankful for a place to sleep that wasn't in my car. If I had known the conditions, I would not have stayed. I would not stay again. Front desk staff was very nice. The room key card was new, clean, wrapped in clear plastic.

I thought the staff was wonderful and friendly. The pool was great. The rooms are clean in the beds were comfy . However we only had one towel when we checked in and we didn't get any more towels or clean ones until 9:00 p.m. on our second day. Also the breakfast was terrible. I kid you not they put out rotten fruit. The coffee was terrible. And the orange juice which I expect to be watered down at every Hotel breakfast was extremely watered down and it tasted sour. I didn't even feel safe drinking it. Which left me honestly nothing to drink at breakfast.

The rooms are fine could be cleaner, the problem i had the most was because we had service dogs we were put in a room at the far end of the hotel which wouldn't be a problem but they dont have microwaves in every room so I would get off of a long days construction work and have to walk all the way to the front of the hotel to the lobby just to heat up my dinner and then all the way back to the room same with the ice machine there is only one in operation on the property and it's by the front door. The last thing I want to do after being on my feet all day is walk a mile just to be able to eat or have a cold drink.

Love this hotel! Staff is friendly, helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast, hot, and well stocked.
I really appreciate that they coordinate with the local kennel club, and offer special rates to us that attend the annual dog show. As long as they continue this, I’ll stay there every August!
