Every staff member we encountered was very nice. However that's where anything nice began and ended.
For starters, as soon as we walked in the room, our fire alarm was beeping from low battery. And it was not the only one on the floor. We could hear others going off.
I went to wash my hands in the bathroom and to get water to use in my baby's bottle warmer and it was BROWN. It continued to be brown and yellow the rest of the night. As a result, I will now have to throw away a full day of my pumped breast milk because I was unable to wash my pump correctly. The shower water came out brown and I couldn't even shower. Absolutely disgusting.
I opened the fridge to put my already pumped and bagged milk in and the bottom of the fridge was covered in something and clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time.
The whole hotel smelled terrible. Our room had just a nasty odor the entire time.
We didn't see any bugs but honestly I am shocked we didn't.
The Continental breakfast was an actual joke. Still Frozen orange juice. Hard boiled eggs sitting in water, and wet looking sausage. Even the coffee was terrible.
We have stayed at plenty of quality inns and others of their brand and have never encountered such an awful time.

Late stop - reviews were good so we booked- Gordon was great making sure we had room with AC working/ clean room and great bed - security guard in parking lot was nice!! Decent breakfast and coffee- deal for the price!! Ladies at desk for checking out were sweet-

We were driving back to Canada from Florida. After 12 hours on the road we stopped in Charleston for the night. We did not have a reservation. Gordon on the front desk was pleasant and helped 2 very tired travellers. He helped us get a pizza delivered. Great room and Gordon had told us breakfast was included. What wonderful surprise breakfast was. Waffles, omelettes, sausages and more. The real treat was Terri the cook/server. Management has a gem in her. She told of us highlights in the area to see and hoped to welcome us on a return trip.|Would definitely recommend staying here.

Would not stay here ever again when I go back to West Virginia. They put us in a room that had water damage before. And the neighborhood looked very run down, with a lot of homeless people and drug use. Also did not have any kind of nice views. It is not a 3 star hotel like they posted on the website.

Room was nice, staff was friendly, location was good. Quality of breakfast left a lot to be desired. (Sausage Gravy was cool and crusted over as if it definitely was leftovers. The breakfast attendant kept going over to the Best Western next door for supplies.) Next time I'll stay at the Best Western next door.

Beds and pillows were wonderful. They looked brand new. Very clean room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Nice aroma in room not stuffy. Finding a channel on TV was frustrating but we eventually found something.

Positive: Maid Negative: pool was in awful condition couldnt let my grandchildren in the pool, girl on evening shift on Sat. was very, very rude unprofessional. Carpets was very nasty in every room I saw. Carpets in rooms an hall were nasty and worn. Room smelled like urine.
