Stayed here 5 years ago and again last week. Still the most friendliest and helpful people working here. Lady in the breakfast area never stops cleaning.... She's a gem! Not the Hilton, but a clean, safe, friendly motel close to the Gorge.

Positive: Perfect location for access to New River Gorge Bridge area and the Park visitor's center. The hot breakfast was better than expected, and having a bar & grill onsite was very handy at dinner time - the food was great. Would definitely stay here again. Negative: ""

We have stayed several times when we travel with our dog. The location is great for us, but we especially like the friendly staff, Elliot's Bar and Grill (which is head and shoulders over franchise restaurants), comfortable rooms with full ameneties. It feels a little "retro", but we like having a door to the outside.

An older motel; however, the first floor rooms are clean and parking is right in front of your room. VERY FAIR PRICES and they have a surprisingly great FREE breakfast. In the evenings a sports bar is also on site! You can eat, have lunch or dinner, have drinks, and then the next morning a good breakfast with a friendly hometown staff. There also a gift shop inside where the breakfast is that has a lot of good souvenirs from this National Park and Scenery area. It’s a safe area as well. Just a small town locally known motel.

Ample parking, friendly staff, reasonable prices, clean rooms.

There is an on-site restaurant/bar with good food at good prices.

The free breakfast was very good as well, a combination of hot and cold products.

Would stay again.

Location is convenient. Every person I encountered that worked there was so kind & attentive to any need I had. Beds are comfortable. The restaurant staff & food were amazing! The wings are a must-have!

Ehhhh, the on-site restaurant was pretty good and breakfast was fine. It's nice that the bathroom was updated, but the rest of the room was not impressive and needs to be redone because it's just worn out and smelled. You could tell they tried to keep it clean but it's past time for updating.

I had a very pleasant three day stay at this location while visiting the New River Gorge and surrounding area. Breakfast buffet was very filling and had a good assortment. The attendant working in the Breakfast area was very nice.
