This is a basic stop over hotel. I would never recommend staying here for anything beyond sleeping and leaving early in the morning. Very convenient off I-5 with food, gas, coffee available also. Our room was ok. Had a few cockroaches in the bathroom.. they warn you about this in the lobby. Man in the lobby was nice. Definitely not a destination but If your tired pull in and get some sleep. The door frame around the door was ripped off.. looked like someone was trying to kick the door in and it pulled the trim off.

The family who own and run this hotel are lovely, helpful people. The rooms are clean and pleasant Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is very well prepared. You can never know how considerate the people in the room next door will be but that is true wherever you stay. I am grateful for pur hosts' kindness to my husband and me and highly recommend their accommodations!

This is our 4th stay here and cannot say enough about this hotel. The owners are welcoming. friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are comfortable. It is also very pet friendly with a large grassy area for our fur baby Rusty. We arrived early yesterday and were able to sit outside in the newly added bbq area with a couple of bench tables and have our dinner. Another couple arrived and they were playing frisbee with their dog in the parking lot. Breakfast was good with eggs sausage toast fruit waffles muffins juices teas and coffee. We use to stay in Bakersfield but this is a very convent location with many places to eat, a market, gas stations and is pet friendly. We have now made this our permanent stop on our trips back and fourth from Oregon to Las Vegas. It really is a great stop on your travels. Rusty likes it too! Woof!

We stop in Kettleman City on the way down to SD. I saw they had a price match guarantee and I submitted for it but they didn’t honor it. I was very disappointed.
Also, the quality of the rooms and breakfast is much better at the Best Western across the street from this hotel. You will not regret spending the extra few dollars to upgrade to the Best Western.

Modern, convenient location for this Quality Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep. Front desk staff very pleasant. Breakfast offerings were good. Friendly front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay, no complaints! Bed was super comfortable, room was clean, staff was nice, not much to do in the area (or many food options), but as someone tired and passing through on I-5 this was great!

The biggest problem with this hotel is that there's carpet in the pet friendly rooms. That means the smell of hundreds of dogs peeing on the floor never truly leaves. When we stayed here, we almost gagged upon walking in due to the wretched stench from animal urine. It was nauseating.

The continental breakfast was standard (powdered eggs, luke cold yogurt, waffle maker, toast, etc.)
